Whimsical Procession

At 1st level, a procession of whimsical phenomena begins to meddle with you.

Whenever you make an ability check, but before the outcome is determined, you can roll a d4. If it's result is even, add it the the ability check's total. Otherwise, subtract it.

Furthermore, odd effects surround you. Choose your procession's appearance from the Whimsical Effects table or determine it randomly.

Whimsical Effects

d6 Appearance
1 Illusory images betray your emotions.
2 Wisps of light and images of constellations dance around you.
3 You smell faintly of roses, cedar, petrichor, or another woodland smell.
4 Leaves or petals mysteriously form and fall around you.
5 You are accompanied by whispers and laughter.
6 Odd shadows shift about you, and your own doesn't resemble you.

Ethereal Shunt

Also starting at 1st level, you can poof away from danger. When a creature you can see makes an attack roll against you, you can use your reaction to magically move 5 feet. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.

You can use this feature once, and regain the ability to do so when you are illuminated by twilight.

Channel Divinity: Detect Fey Crossing

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity as an action to magically sense the presence of a passageway to the Feywild. When you do, you detect the distance and direction to the closest fey crossing within 1 mile of you.

See the "Feywild" section in chapter 2 of the Dungeon Master's Guide for examples of fey crossings.

Illusory Seelie

A Tiny illusion joins your procession. The Illusory Seelie is intangible and doesn't occupy its space, and it sheds dim light in a 10-foot radius. It looks like a fairy, wisp of light, or Tiny beast (your choice).

The Illusory Seelie can hear and see, and it has darkvision with a range of 60 feet. It can also speak Common and Sylvan to communicate what it sees and hears (no action required).

As an action, you can command the Illusory Seelie to make an ability check. Don't add ability modifiers to ability checks made by it. It is only proficient in 3 skills of your choice when you gain this feature, and it's proficiency bonus equals your proficiency bonus.

You can speak through your Illusory Seelie using it's voice.

As a bonus action, you can command the Illusory Seelie to fly 30 feet to an unoccupied space. It can pass through creatures but not objects. it cannot fly more than 60 feet away from you, and will fly back to you if you are more than 60 feet away from it.

Divine Strike

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with fey magic. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 damage. Roll a d6 to determine the attack's damage type, as shown below.

d6 Damage Type
1 Fire
2 Acid
3 Force
4 Poison
5 Psychic
1 Cold

When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8

Channel Divinity: Faerie Flood

Starting at 17th level, you can use your Channel Divinity as an action to thin the ethereal divide around you. For 1 hour, the area within 300 feet of you is illuminated by twilight and all bright light and nonmagical darkness becomes dim light. All creatures of your choice within that area gain the benefits of your Whimsical Procession feature for the duration.
