Shift Evocation

2nd-level Stoichiometrist feature

At 2nd level, gain the ability to change the damage type of evocation spells.

As a reaction you can use a spell slot to change the damage type of an evocation spell.  You choose acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, or thunder.  The spell slot must be of the same level as the spell being targeted.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Material Expertise

6th-level Stoiciometrist feature

At 6th level, you add the Enlarge\Reduce spell to your spellbook if it is not there already. When you cast Enlarge\Reduce, the target may Enlarge or Reduce an additional size doubling the effect.

While concentrating on Enlarge\Reduce you gain the following benefits:

  • You have advantage on saving throws used to maintain concentration
  • You may take the opposite effect of the spell.

Necromanic Respite

10th-level Stoiciometrist feature

Once per day you can touch a creature that has died within the last minute. That creature returns to life with temporary hit points equal to your intelligence modifier.  A creature revived in this way is not under your control and can not receive healing effects.  The creature must continue to make death saving throws on each of it's turns.  This effect ends on either a 3rd failed death saving throw or their hitpoints are reduced to 0.  When the effect ends, all saving throws are reset.

Greater Understanding

14th-level Stoiciometrist feature

Your grasp on the inner workings of spells deepens.  As a reaction, you may completely alter a spell that was cast on a creature you can see within 30 feet including yourself.  The caster must succeed an intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC or you are able to exchange the spell with another spell that you know of the same level.

Once you use this reaction, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
