Base Class: Monk
Oh come on, we all know Way of the Four Elements sucked at fulfilling our Avatar wants. Let's fix that and give fire bending (and the more advanced Lightning Bending) a proper representation.
Fist Feeds To Flame
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manipulate your control over fire to enhance your combatitive techniques. Whenever you use your Flurry of Blows ability, you may elect to replace both of the following attacks with one of the following:
- It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC {{savedc:wis}}) or take fire damage equal to your martial arts die on a failed save, half on a success.Your reach is extended by 10 feet on this attack.
- Make an attack roll, all creatures of your choice within 5ft of you make a Dexterity saving throw. If their save is lower than your attack roll, they take twice your martial arts die in fire damage. If they are higher, they take none. You cannot
(This does not mean you get to use one of these twice or each once, you pick one and that's it.)
Fire Comes From The Breath
At 6th level, you gain the ability to protect yourself from the cold, and use the same technique offensively. You can regulate your body temperature using the fire within you, and as such have advantage against the effects of both extreme cold and extreme heat. Additionally, as an action, you can exhale a cone of flame 15 feet long. This does 3 times your martial arts die on a failed Dex save (DC {{savedc:wis}}), half on a success. You regain this at the end of a long rest.
Fiery Redirection
Beginning at 11th level, you can use your prowess to redirect incoming damage. You may cast Absorb Elements a number of times equal to your Wisdom Modifer, however the extra damage after absorbing will always be fire.
Fiery Propulsion
At 17th level, you gain the ability to set up explosive blasts to launch yourself in the air at the cost of your enemies. When you use your Step of the Wind feature, you may spend a Ki Point, if you do, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed, and create a 15 foot explosion from the point you leave. Each creature in that blast of your choice must make a Constitution saving throw (DC {{savedc:wis}}) or take fire damage equal to your martial arts die, have as much on a success. You can increase the blast radius and damage by 5ft and one die each for each additional ki point spent, to a maximum of 3 extra Ki points (totaling 30ft blast for 4 times your martial arts die)
