The Mutation

This mutation grants a number of strange powers and acts as a physical connection between you and the creature you made your pact with, or it perhaps is some semblance of the very same creature, and will continue to grow the more powerful the warlock and their connection to whatever entity is infesting them becomes.

Expanded Spell List

The Mutation lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Disturbing Visage

Starting at 1st level, you may use this ability to physically plant a mutation on a target within 5 feet of you, the mutation senses if the target is lying for the next minute, and you have advantage on Intimidation rolls against them.

Abnormal Skin

Starting at 6th level, you may call on your mutation to alter your skin, making you immune to a damage type for 1 minute

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Inhuman Blood

Starting at 10th level, you can choose to take poison damage equal to your spellcasting modifier, if you do choose from these options: fire, poison or necrotic. All melee weapon attacks you make for the next minute do an extra 2d6 damage of that type. You can use this ability once per short or long rest.

Poisonous Spores

Starting at 14th level, when you hit a creature with an attack, you can use this feature to attach a mutation to the target. The creature takes 9d12 poison damage on the start of its next turn.

Additionally if the creature is affected by Disturbing Visage you can forgo having to make an attack to activate this ability. If you use the ability in this way it deals an extra 2d12 poison damage and you may use it at a range of up to 60 feet.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
