Base Class: Warlock
The clockwork nirvana of Mechanus calls to you. The implacable ticking of gears and cogs the size of cities sing to you in dreams, a celestial metronome that regulates your every moment with mathematical perfection. For good, ill, or something in between, you have entered into a contract with Primus, The One and the Prime, or one of his hierarchs, sealed away on a golden disk in ironclad terms of unassailable logic. Through you the will of Regulus is made manifest, bringing order to chaos, definition to the unknown, and purpose to the aimless.
Expanded Spell List
The Great Machine provides access to an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
The Great Machine Expanded Spells
1st Command, Identify
2nd Calm Emotions, Zone of Truth
3rd Clairvoyance, Glyph of Warding
4th Arcane Eye, Fabricate
5th Geas, Wall of Force
Like Clockwork
Starting at 1st level, your patron empowers your own body and mind with the planar energies of Mechanus. When you roll damage on a spell or attack, you may treat each die as if it rolled half the maximum value instead of rolling. This feature cannot be used on spells that have different effects depending on the value of the damage die (such as Chaos Bolt)
Law of Average
Starting at 6th level, you can channel power from the Infinity Web to force order upon your surroundings, re-tuning fate itself. When a creature you can see rolls with advantage or disadvantage, you can remove the advantage or disadvantage and cause them to roll as normal. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Mechanus Mind
Starting at 10th level, your thoughts become not unlike a modron's, full of rigid certainty and unity of purpose. You have advantage on saves against effects that impose the charmed or frightened conditions. You also have advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) checks to determine whether an illusion is real.
Axiomatic Apotheosis
Starting at 14th level, you can bring the Great Modron March to you by summoning and inhabiting a hierarch. As an action, you can assume the form of a Decaton. In all other respects it functions like the Polymorph spell. You can remain in this battle-form for up to 10 minutes, until you dismiss it as a bonus action, or until you lose concentration. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
