Base Class: Sorcerer
As a Creative Mind Sorcerer, you decide how you acquired your power. You might have been naturally creative. You may have been touched by fey influences. You may have been influenced by famous artists who sparked your creative mind.
Creative Magic
1st-level Creative Sorcerer feature
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Creative Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Creative Spells
| Sorcerer Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 1st | silent image, disguise self, minor illusion |
| 3rd | invisibility, alter self |
| 5th | major image, hypnotic pattern |
| 7th | hallucinatory terrain, fabricate |
| 9th | seeming, animate objects |
Active Imagination
1st-level Creative Sorcerer feature
Through constant daydreaming and your imagination running wild. The figments of your imagination begin to spill out to the world around you.
As a bonus action, you may cast minor illusion.
Misconceived Reality
6th-level Creative Sorcerer feature
When you are attacked by a creature you can see, you can use your Reaction to alter the creature's interpretation of the world. The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. If the creature fails its save and there are no other creatures in its attack range, it automatically misses on its attack roll. If the creature fails its save and there are one or more creatures in its attack range, you can have your attacker target that creature instead, using the same attack roll. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Escape Reality
6th-level Creative Sorcerer feature
Through constant daydreaming, lack of attention and an overwhelming amount of magical creativity, mind-altering effects seem to have little to no effect on you.
You gain resistance to psychic damage, and you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
Imaginary Friend
14th-level Creative Sorcerer feature
Everyone doubted, but they were real to you. You gain the ability to manifest your imaginary friends into reality. Choose one summon spell as your merry band of imaginary friends from the list.
- Summon Beast
- Summon Fey
- Summon Shadowspawn
- Summon Aberration
- Summon Construct
- Summon Elemental
- Summon Celestial
- Summon Fiend
You may cast this spell at your highest level once per long rest
On each level up, you may switch your band of imaginary friends.
Daydreamer
18th-level Creative Sorcerer feature
At 18th level, you can let your mind wander in combat to come up with new and creative ways to use your magic. As an action, you can begin Daydreaming. You must concentrate on Daydreaming as though it were a spell. While Daydreaming you gain 1 sorcery point every time you reduce a creature's hit points to 0 and all metamagic options require 1 less sorcery point to use for the duration. If the metamagic option only requires 1 sorcery point you may use it for free. You may stop Daydreaming with no action required by you or after 1 minute but you cannot Daydream again until the end of your next long rest.
