Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Some barbarians choose to get in a little over their head and take on every threat themselves. The Path of the Taunting Titan is a path of goading attacks and an iron fortitude. While enraged, a barbarian walking this path puts up a stonewall defense as they taunt their enemies into aggressively focusing all of their attention on them alone.

A barbarian walking this path must find the balance between gaining their enemies' undivided attention and taking on more attackers than they can handle.

Taunt

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can choose to taunt your foes when you rage. At the start of your rage, you may choose a number of enemies equal to your proficiency bonus within 30 feet of you that you can see to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus). Each creature that fails the saving throw is taunted by you for the duration of your rage. Each creature taunted by you in this way has disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you and must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus) each time it attempts to move to a space that is more than 30 feet away from you; if it succeeds on this saving throw, the target’s movement is unrestricted by your taunt for that turn. The target may repeat the Wisdom saving throw when you deal damage to it, ending the effect of the taunt on a success.

On subsequent turns, you may use a bonus action to taunt another hostile creature within range that you can see that is not already influenced by your taunt. You may not be taunting more enemies than your proficiency bonus at one time.

The taunt ends on a target if you end your turn more than 30 feet away from that target or on all targets when you end your rage. Creatures immune to the charmed condition are unaffected by this feature.

Surrounded

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, while you are raging, you gain proficiency in perception and hostile creatures do not gain the benefit of advantage from flanking you.

Toughen Skin

Beginning at 6th level, you can toughen your skin when hit by an attack. If you are raging and you take damage, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage you take by 1d12 + your Constitution modifier. After you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

The damage you can reduce when you reach certain levels in this class, increading to 2d12 + your Constitution modifier at 10th level and 3d12 + your Constitution modifier at 14th level.

Extra Protection

Beginning at 10th level, you can gain the benefits of a shield without having to hold it in your hand. The shield is effectively strapped to your back and does not stack with the benefits of any shield you hold in your hand. You may only gain the benefits of one shield this way.

Distracting Strike

Beginning at 14th level, you can distract an enemy taunted by you. While you are raging, you may use your bonus action to target a hostile creature who is already taunted by you. Whether or not you hit, your attack throws them off, forcing them to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus). If it fails on this saving throw, any attacks made against it have advantage until the end of your next turn.

You may use this feature up to a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses of this feature once you finish a long rest.
