Base Class: Monk
a Monk subclass based on Genji from Overwatch
”This body is not a weapon. It is a high-tech prosthesis. This is the best description I can think of.” - Genji
Cyber agility
the cybernetic part of you grants you a few additional bonuses when you pick this subclass at level 3. because of this, you are given the following:
- spend 1 Ki point to double your jumping speed
- you have a climbing speed equal to half your movement speed rounded up
Way With the Shuriken
at Level 3 you have honed your skills with the shuriken and can throw it more precisely and accurately. you are now granted to following:
- any shuriken you throw is counted as a magical attack
- you have expertise in shurikens
- you can spend 1 Ki point to throw 3 shurikens at once each doing half damage
swift strike
at 6th level, as an action, you can spend 2 Ki points and dash and make an attack with an advantage dealing an extra 1d4 every turn (you get this ability back the next time you kill a creature that isn't undead)
Upgrade Deflect missile
at level 11 you have practiced deflecting everything you see and are given the following:
- you can deflect projectiles with your sword
- your deflect missile die is now a D12
- you have advantage on deflecting your attack back at your enemy
DragonBlade
at level 17 you can spend 3 Ki points to invoke the power of the Dragon, forging a +3 steel blade for 1 round dealing 2D12 slashing damage, 10-foot reach, and critting on a 19. you can do this once every dawn.

Step of the wind already gives you 2x jump distance, although if Cyberagility doesn't cost an action/bonus action these would stack and not be redundant.
Base climb speed for all players is 1/2 move speed.
Way With the Shuriken
Does Expertise in Shurikens mean you add proficiency bonus to attack roll and dmg? "Expertise" usually means doubling proficiency bonus's on skill checks, and attacks don't have proficiency bonus associated with them.
For throwing 3 shurikens, I think it would be cool if they were thrown in a cone pattern like in OW and had something like a 10ft range.
Swift strike
I really like this idea. Does getting the ability back mean recasting without Ki points? I'd also specify range here. Also, maybe if the range of the attack moves you out of melee range, you don't provoke attack of opportunity?
Improved Deflect Missile
Also like this idea
Dragonblade
Haven't played at this high a lvl so I don't feel I should have an opinion on it either way.
