Base Class: Warlock
The Worm Gods are beings from the far realm that can grant power to those willing to take their larvae into themselves. The larvae hunger for death, and the host must satisfy it. If it doesn't, the larvae eats its way out of the host, killing them.

Worm Larvae
You have accepted the Worm Gods’ larvae into yourself in exchange for your power. You must keep it’s hunger sated with your actions. From 1st level onward, you have a __/__ counter that you must keep track of. Its maximum is 1d100+100. Killing others increases your score on the counter by 25. Certain other tasks raise the counter as well, to the DM’s discretion. For each hour, your score decreases by 1d6. If that score lowers to zero, the larvae, out of sheer hunger, eats your body from the inside out, killing you. Each level increases the maximum hunger by 10 plus your constitution modifier. The hunger decrease becomes 2d6 at level 14.
The Sword Logic
At 6th level, the Worm Gods grant you a new creed to follow. They also bless you with a new weapon and the skills to wield it; an enchanted longsword, bound to your soul, along with a proficiency in longswords. It’s base damage is 1d6. With every death you cause with this weapon, it grows stronger. Add +1 necrotic damage to the weapon for each 10 final blows you strike. With each interval of +5 necrotic damage added, the threshold is increased by 10. At level 20, the base damage is increased to 2d6. This sword cannot be removed from you.
Tablets of Ruin
At 10th level, you are granted dark secrets by the Worm Gods. You can select a creature to bend to your will. They must make a wisdom saving throw. Your DC for this is 10 + your wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus. If they succeed, they resist the attempt, know what you tried to do, and are immune to another attempt for 48 hours. If they fail, they are permanently altered into mindless servants who obey your will completely. You can order them around even if you are on separate planes. They undergo noticeable changes physically, making others know that something is odd about them. You can only use this feature again after a month.
Ascendant Realm
At 14th level, you gain the ability to tear holes in reality with your blade that lead to a pocket dimension of your own that differs from other planes based on your personality called a Throne World. You can use this space as a portable home base that can send you to any location in the material plane. At 20th level, you can attune yourself and your allies to your Throne World and will be sent there if you die so you can recuperate. You can only be saved from death once per day.

Posted Jul 21, 2022...I'll be honest - I made this a long time ago when I was very new to D&D. I'm not really proud of it anymore, and I really should try to remake it at some point, but I have other priorities when it comes to homebrew at the moment. Some day I probably will remake this, though.
