Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You may trace your origins back to a powerful creature of the Feywild, be it an Archfey or an ancient hag.

Fey Heritage

Your innate connection to the Feywild, the realm of the fey, affects your very nature. When your sorcerous powers awaken, your creature type becomes fey if it is not already. Additionally, you can speak, read, and write Sylvan.

Sylvan Magic

Starting at 1st level, you learn the faerie fire, which doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known.

When you reach 3rd level in this class, you also learn the misty step spell, which doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known. In addition, you can cast it as a reaction a number of times equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down) between long rests without expending a spell slot in response to taking damage. When you do this, you take half damage instead of full damage.

Capricious Disposition

At 6th level, you gain the ability to make your opponents more susceptible to your manipulations, and to protect your allies from the same. Whenever you or a creature you can see make a Wisdom saving throw against being charmed or frightened, you can use your reaction to spend 2 sorcery points to apply a bonus or penalty (your choice) to the roll equal to your Charisma modifier. You can do so after the roll but before any effects of the roll occur.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.

Beguiling Nature

When you reach 14th level in this class, your fey ancestry manifests in the form of otherworldly beauty and a fearsome presence.

In addition, as a bonus action, you can intensify your natural gifts for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. For the duration, any creature who targets you with an attack or a harmful spell must first make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature must choose a new target or the attack or spell is wasted, and it takes 1d6 + your Charisma modifier as psychic damage. On a successful save, it is unaffected and can attack you on this turn. This effect doesn't protect you against area effects, such as the explosion of a fireball.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 6 sorcery points to use it again.

Crown of the Feywild

Your bond to the energies of the Feywild is stronger than ever, and the power of your fey blood shows itself in full force. At 18th level, you gain resistance to the charmed and frightened effects. Additionally, you gain permanent magical flight equal to your movement speed, and you can hover.
