Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your power comes from one of your ancestors who was much more then he or she may have seemed, although the event is rare through certain circumstances a shapechanger such as a Doppelganger can come to have children. Or maybe you were the result of some bizarre arcane or eldritch experiment. Either way this event has caused you to gain some arcane abilities, the most notable of them being the ability to change yourself to suit your needs

Change Appearance

As an action, you can transform your appearance or revert to your natural form. You can’t duplicate the appearance of a creature you’ve never seen, and you revert to your natural form if you die.

You decide what you look like, including your height, weight, facial features, the sound of your voice, coloration, hair length, sex, and any other distinguishing characteristics. You can make yourself appear as a member of another race, though none of your game statistics change. You also can’t appear as a creature of a different size than you, and your basic shape stays the same; if you’re bipedal, you can’t use this trait to become quadrupedal, for instance. Your clothing and other equipment don’t change in appearance, size, or shape to match your new form, requiring you to keep a few extra outfits on hand to make the most compelling disguise possible.

Even to the most astute observers, your ruse is usually indiscernible. If you rouse suspicion, or if a wary creature suspects something is amiss, you have advantage on any Charisma (Deception) check you make to avoid detection.

Read Thoughts

You have the ability to magically read the surface thoughts of one creature within 60 ft. of you as a bonus action. The effect can penetrate most barriers, but 3 ft. of wood or dirt, 2 ft. of stone, 2 inches of metal, or a thin sheet of lead blocks it. While the target is in range, you can continue reading its thoughts, as long as your concentration isn't broken (as if concentrating on a spell). While reading the target's mind, you have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) and Charisma (Deception, Intimidation, and Persuasion) checks against the target.

You can use ability a number of times equal to your charisma modifier per a long rest.

Mimic Physiology

Starting at 6th level you can expend a sorcery point and mimic a single physical property of a humanoid creature you can see within 60ft. as a bonus action, you can hold this form for a number of hours equal to your charisma modifier, until you dispel it as a bonus action, or when you use your Change Appearance feature. You can only use this feature to mimic one trait at a time, if you use this feature again the previous ability fades from your body. Using this ability you can copy one of the following abilities of the target.

A type of movement speed

A type of sense

A single physical ability score

A natural armor

A natural weapon

Share Forms

At 14th level you gain the ability to touch a willing humanoid and share your transformations with it, whenever you use your Change Appearance feature you can expend a sorcery point to touch a willing creature and transform them into a form following the same requirements. Additionally, whenever you use your Mimic Physiology feature you can expend an extra sorcery point and to touch a willing creature and grant them the same physical trait.

True Form

At 18th level you gain the ability to fully transform yourself into another, as a bonus action you can touch a humanoid creature and expended 3 sorcery points to fully assimilate their form gaining all physical ability scores and traits of that form. This form lasts up to a number of hours equal to your charisma modifier, when you end it as a bonus action, or when you use your Mimic Physiology or Change Appearance features. Once you use this feature you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
