Base Class: Fighter
Those given the nickname 'Eagle Eye' are masters of observing from afar and striking with precision. An asset to any team, the name Eagle Eye carries with it a reputation of elusiveness and respect. The only times an Eagle Eye is likely to be seen are on the march to the battle, and on the march home.
Danger from a Distance
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the following Skills: Stealth, Investigation. Additionally, attacking at long range no longer imposes disadvantage on your attacks.
Lethal Accuracy
Starting when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you begin to do more damage the more accurately you strike.
For every 5 above a targets armor class you roll to-hit on a ranged attack, add 1d6 of your weapons damage type to the attack. Your Lethal Accuracy die increases to 1d8 at level 7, and 1d10 at level 15.
Discerning Eye
Starting at 3rd level, you learn to analyze a target and quickly discern what its weaknesses are.
As a bonus action you may make an Intelligence (Investigation) check against the AC of one target within 90 ft. to learn its AC. If you learn a targets AC with this feature you may add 5 to the first ranged attack roll made against that target on each of your turns. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (a minimum of once) and regain all uses after finishing a short rest. The range of Discerning Eye increases by 30 ft. at 7th, 10th, and 15th level.
Strike First, Strike Hard
When you reach 7th level, you learn the virtue of quality over quantity with your attacks.
On your turn, you may forgo your Extra Attack to increase your first ranged attack roll by 5. At later levels you can increase your ranged attack roll by 5 for each Extra Attack you forgo. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus and you regain all expended uses after finishing a long rest.
Intense Aim
Upon reaching 10th level, your aim is nearly impossible to interrupt.
Your ranged attacks now ignore half-cover and three-quarters-cover. If you are targeting a creature that has not moved this round, add 5 to the attack roll.
Focused Tenacity
Starting at 15th level, you gain advantage on your next ranged attack whenever you use the Indomitable feature. Additionally, if you have not taken damage by the end of the third round of combat, you have advantage on the first attack of your turn until you take damage.
One Shot, One Kill
At 18th level, you have mastered the ability to take advantage of unsuspecting targets.
You have advantage on ranged attacks against surprised targets and targets that can't see you. Once per day you may use your action to call a shot, before rolling to-hit, to make a ranged attack against a target. If the target has less than 80 hit points they die. If the target has more than 80 hit points they must succeed a Constitution Saving Throw (DC is equal to your Dexterity modifier + Proficiency Bonus + 8) or be stunned until the end of their next turn, roll damage normally.
