Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Satire are called jesters. They are experts in cheesy jokes, humorous stories, and daring acrobatics, and use these skills to entertain the masses. While some bards seek to be the greatest and most talented, jesters thrive in making themselves look like fools.

Clumsy Fool

At 3rd level, you master a variety of acrobatic techniques that allow you to evade danger. As a bonus action, you can tumble. While you tumble, you gain the following benefits for the rest of your turn:

  • Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.
  • You gain the benefits of taking the Disengage actions
  • If you choose to tumble into an enemy's space, you can force the creature to make a Strength saving throw (DC equaling your Spell save DC). On a failure, the creature falls prone, and has disadvantage on their next attack. You can only tumble into the space of one enemy.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join this college at Level 3, you gain  proficiencies in Sleight of Hand and Acrobatics. If you are already proficient in any of these, choose another skill for each proficiency you already have.

Quick Improv

At 6th level, you gain the ability to play off your failure as a joke.

Whenever you fail a skill check, you can expend one of your Bardic Inspiration di and add it to your failure, potentially turning it into a success. You can only expend the Bardic Inspiration di after your original check was deemed a failure.

Master of Heckling

At 14th level, your humor is so quick, you can belittle your enemies with the slightest of ease.

When an enemy you see within 30 feet of you succeeds on a saving throw, you can use your reaction to expend one of your Bardic Inspiration dice and subtract the number rolled to their saving throw total.
