Base Class: Bard
In an orchestra, a conductor directs all the music to work together. In battle, a College of Conduction Bard directs all their allies to help them work together. With access to Orchestral Inspiration, Musical Warmup, Group Dynamics, and Symphony, this Bardic College is useful in a number of scenarios.
Orchestral Inspiration
Whenever you grant an ally Bardic Inspiration, you grant Bardic Inspiration to an additional number of allies equal to your proficiency bonus, without expending additional uses of Bardic Inspiration. Whenever two or more allies with Bardic Inspiration are within melee range of a foe, your allies make melee attacks with advantage.
Musical Warmup
You can spend 20 minutes guiding friendly creatures through a musical warmup. You grant up to 6 friendly creatures temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus plus your Charisma modifier. Whenever a friendly creature who has received temporary hit points from Musical Warmup 3 or more times makes a Charisma (Performance) check to play an instrument or to sing, they add their proficiency bonus. If they would already add their proficiency bonus, they add double their proficiency bonus.
The temporary hit points gained from Musical Warmup stack with the Inspiring Leader feat.
Once this feature is used, it cannot be used again until the user finishes a long rest.
Group Dynamics
Whenever a friendly creature has a Bardic Inspiration die, they can take an action to use the Bardic Inspiration die to grant all friendly creatures who have a Bardic Inspiration die or who have had a Bardic Inspiration die within the past minute one of the following benefits for one minute:
- Add double your proficiency bonus to melee attack rolls you would add your proficiency bonus to
- Roll all Charisma checks with advantage
- Add the Conductor Bard's Charisma modifier to any Saving Throws you make
- Restore a number of hit points equal to the combined Constitution modifiers plus total levels of all friendly creatures receiving this healing
- Multiply all the healing and damage of spells times half the level of the slot used, rounded up (Cantrips count as level 1 spell slots for the purpose of the multiplication)
Symphony
A number of friendly creatures equal to your Charisma modifier plus your Proficiency bonus can choose to perform. They must have proficiency with at least one instrument. If they choose to perform, they lose their next Action. Every friendly creature who chooses to perform rolls a Charisma (Performance) check. Add up the totals rolled on all the Charisma (Performance) checks and multiply it by half of the number of friendly creatures who chose to perform. You choose whether to deal that much damage to a creature, or restore a number of hit points equal to that number among any friendly creatures within 60 feet.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you have taken 2 Long Rests.
