Oath of Candor Spells

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.

Honest Strike. You can use your Channel Divinity to force an opponent to fight honestly. When you make an attack roll with disadvantage, or an attack roll is made against you with advantage, you can expend a use of channel divinity to remove disadvantage from yourself or remove advantage from your attacker.

Detect Deceit. You can use your Channel Divinity to detect magical lies near you. As an action, you can discern whether there is any illusion or enchantment magic affecting any creatures or objects within 60 ft of you.

Aura of Candor

Starting at 7th level, you constantly emanate a truthful aura while you’re not incapacitated. The aura extends 10 feet from you in every direction, but not through total cover.

Any creatures within the aura fall under the effects of the Zone of Truth spell.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Incorruptible Self

Starting at 15th level, you become honest to yourself. You become immune to the charmed condition, and any magical effects that would change your alignment or personality.

Scion of Truth

At 20th level, you gain the ability to embody truth itself. As an action, you can magically become an avatar of candor, gaining the following benefits for 1 minute:

• No lies can be told within eyesight of you.
• You gain truesight with a range of 120 ft.
• Any illusion spell within eyesight of you is dispelled.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
