Ritual Crafter

Arcane practitioners that have studied the art of magical rituals and crafting new rituals for use in arcane practice, Ritual Crafter wizards are capable of conducting their ritual magic at rapid speeds, they are known to be able to conduct multiple rituals at once, can craft new rituals for spells that are not considered ritual spells by the wider arcane community, and even conduct ritual castings without the use of material spellcasting components.

Ritual Crafter Features

Rapid Rituals

Beginning at 2nd level, you can utilise your expertise in ritual casting to expediate the process of casting ritual spells. When you ritual cast a spell from your spellbook, you can recreate a ritual from memory and cast it instantaneously. The 10 additional minutes taken to ritual cast a spell are not applied in this casting of the spell, and the regular casting time is ignored as well in place of a single action. Because of this, even spells like find familiar and identify take only an action to cast through this feature.

Once you have used this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, you cannot do so again until the end of your next long rest.

Ritual Savant

Beginning when you select this arcane specialty at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy a spell with the ritual tag into your spellbook is halved.

Twin Rituals

Starting at 6th level, when you ritual cast a spell from your spellbook, you can choose to also ritual cast another spell from your spellbook with the same casting time, or a second instance of your original ritual casted spell. Alternatively, you can expend two uses of your Rapid Rituals subclass feature to instantaneously cast two ritual spells of your choice from your spellbook.

Ritual Conversion

Beginning at 10th level, when you prepare your spells for the day, you can convert certain spells that you prepare into ritual spells. You can select one spell of each level between 1st and 5th that you have prepared this day. You understand how to conduct rituals to cast these five selected spells without expending a spell slot, and can utilise these spells with your other subclass features that require the use of ritual spells.

Ritual Master

Starting at 14th level, you have mastered the art of crafting and casting arcane rituals. Once per long rest, you can ritual cast one spell of your choice without expending material components.
