Base Class: Fighter
The Diplomats are a specialist group of operatives who explore the dangerous wastelands around Bastion. Their objective is to find survivors in the wastelands who have something to offer and safely negotiate their passage into the city.
Each are trained and mentored by a senior member of the order to survive by remaining hidden and moving cautiously. When violence does occur, they study their foes carefully before ending combat brutally and quickly.
Body Language
At 3rd Level you gain proficiency in Persuasion and Intimidation. You can choose to use your Strength modifier for these skills instead of Charisma. If you already had proficiency in these skills your proficiency bonus is Doubled.
Silent Steel
Starting at 3rd Level you no longer suffer disadvantage on Stealth checks for wearing Heavy Armour.
Style Mastery
At 7th level you gain an enhanced version of the Fighting Style you chose at 1st level.
Archery
You gain a +3 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.
Defense
While you are wearing armor, you gain a +2 bonus to AC.
Dueling
When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +3 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.
Great Weapon Fighting
When you roll a 1, 2 or 3 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1, 2 or 3. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.
Protection
While wielding a shield and a creature you can see attacks a target other than you within 10 ft., you can use your reaction to move directly next to the target impose disadvantage on the attack roll. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. You can alternatively chose to use your Bonus Action to impose Disadvantage on the next Melee attack made against you.
Battlefield Scholar
Starting at 10th level you can spend an action to make a single melee attack on a target, if you hit, you choose one piece of information to learn from. the following list-
- Two saving throw modifiers of the target creature
- The target creature’s current armour class
- Any immunities and vulnerabilities the target creature has
- Any resistances the target creature has
- The target creature’s type
Reactionary
From 15th Level, you gain an additional Reaction per Round. You can only use one reaction per triggering event.
Battlefield Academia
From 18th Level you can choose two pieces of information to learn from each use of the Battlefield Scholar Action, instead of one.
