Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

A paladin who upholds the virtues of freedom, self-defense, and retribution. They have sworn an oath to protect the freedoms of those who can not protect it themselves. Many of them are wanderers, going place to place in search of work. They tend to be virtuous, but still act primarily on their own will. Those bound by this oath are normally seen as freedom fighters, but that is an over generalization as they can carry a wide variety of careers, ranging from city guards, knights of the clergy, or even some criminals. As their tenets are that of the freedom to do as they see fit, within respectable limits, it truly is one of the most liberating oaths a paladin could take.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Unshackled Movement. As an action, you are freed of your own physical restraints. For 1 minute, your speed doubles.

If you fall unconscious, this effect ends.

Unbinding Will. As an bonus action, your deity further blesses your divine smite. Once within 1 minute, when you hit an enemy with a divine smite, allies within 10 ft. will gain temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt by the smite. The temporary hit points gained are lost upon depletion or the use of a long rest.
