Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Way of The Razor-Bearers harbor some of the most ferocious monks in all of history. Their incredible speed with both blades and running allows them to tear down crowds of people with only their knives. These monks can manipulate Ki in their bodies to gain great speed and chain devastating blows with their daggers. They delight in taking on hordes of monsters on their own and wearing them down, bit by bit. Monks who follow the Way of The Razor-Bearers learn to use their Ki to gain incredible speed, they also learn to sap their enemy's defenses by draining their Ki. Monks who follow this tradition are very versatile, being able to take on entire crowds, or just a few people all on their own.

Blade Tactics

Starting at 3rd level, when you choose this sub-class, you gain the following benefits, if there is a Ki cost, it is described in the ability:

Razor proficiency: you gain proficiency with any type of knife (improvised or otherwise) and may add your proficiency bonus to the damage rolls of knives. In addition, if you use any ability that requires you use an unarmed strike (I.E. Flurry Of Blows) you may instead choose to use a knife.

Chain Cuts: When you successfully deal damage to an opponent with a dagger or similar weapon, you may spend a bonus action to quickly duck out of their melee range (this does not provoke opportunity attacks) and run to a nearby opponent (within your movement speed range) and attack that opponent, you may do this up to two more times, targeting a different opponent each time. Each time you hit an opponent you gain extra movement speed, on your first hit, you gain 10 feet, then 15 feet, then 20 feet, and finally 25 feet to land your final hit. You lose 10 ft. of movement if you miss at any time and you reset the extra speed on hit back to 10 ft. (this doesn't stop the combo, but makes it more difficult to keep up). You may do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, alternatively, you may spend 1 Ki to activate this ability again. You may only use other Monk abilities which alter your attacks (stunning strike, extra attack, etc.) on the last chained hit (if you have extra attack, and use this, the extra attack activates only on the last chained hit, and not the attack action itself). This ability recharges after a short or long rest.

Razor-Runner

At the 6th level, you gain two benefits, as your ferocity and concentration increase:

You have 10 feet extra gained speed for Chain Cuts (instead of 10, 15, 20, 25 its now 20, 25, 30, 35)

You may spend extra Ki points to chain even more hits for Chain Cuts (however your max extra speed remains at 35 ft.). You may spend 1 extra Ki point for two additional attacks (you may attack two extra enemies with 1 ki point in chain hits) you may spend extra Ki equal you half of your wisdom bonus, rounded up.

Bleeding Mark

Starting at level 11
You've honed the skills required to sap the defenses of the enemy by absorbing the enemy's Ki. If you do damage with a dagger you may spend at least 1 Ki point to mark a target as your slashes drain their Ki, without them even knowing. Marked targets take double dagger damage dice from you (instead of 1d8 its 2d8). Marks last 3 rounds + any extra Ki points you spend on the move. You may use this a number of times equal to your wisdom bonus per long rest.

Starting at level 15
(this is an upgrade for the previous ability, and is completely optional)

You've mastered your Bleeding Mark, and have learned to channel the fear generated by one of your rampages into Ki Sapping energy. If you use every hit of your Chain Cut the last person hit counts as Marked, if they were already Marked the marks stack, meaning quadruple dice.

Chain of Deep Slashes

At level 17, you have attained complete mastery with your blade and gain the following benefits:

You may use the base version of Chain Cuts (without any extra targets) as many times as you want.

You may apply Bleeding Mark to everyone you hit with Chain Cuts without spending any Ki (Foes marked in this way don't count toward your maximum amount of marks). Marks created in this way last until you do damage to them with a dagger, at which point they stop.

You may spend 4 Ki points when you use Chain Cuts to activate Chain of Deep Slashes. Every person you hit with Chain Cuts counts as Marked (double damage dice, quadruple if they were already marked, this includes by the "Mark Chain"), and you may attack as many people as you like, provided you can get to them.
