Base Class: Warlock
The Starved is an ancient being with insatiable hunger. It has long been imprisoned and endlessly tortured. Its immortal nature denies it the relief of death, thus it is forced to endure the pain of starvation. Over centuries in agony, The Starved found a way to manipulate its pain into power, sending vestiges of itself out into the world to feed. These vestiges need hosts, willing creatures to allow the vestiges to fuse with them in a symbiotic relationship. The Starved offers its eldritch power to the hosts of its vestiges in exchange for the chance to feed and alleviate its hunger, if only for a short while.

Host of the Vestige
Starting at 1st level, you become the host of a wendigo, a vestige of The Starved. Your DM will share your wendigo stat block with you. Your wendigo's ability scores are based off of your own, as it is a reflection of your own strength. You and your wendigo share your hit points. When you roll initiative or as a Bonus Action on your turn, you may siphon your hit points between yourself and your wendigo as long as you are within 60 ft. of each other. When you first siphon hit points to your wendigo, you choose an unoccupied space within 15 ft. of you that you can see for the wendigo to appear. You may siphon up to all of either you or your wendigo's current hit points when you use this feature. If either you or your wendigo is effected by a condition such as blinded, paralyzed, stunned, etc., it can only have its hit points siphoned down to 1 rather than none.
Your wendigo rolls its own initiative. At the start of each of your wendigo's turns, it gains temporary hit points equal to twice your Proficiency Bonus. It must have at least 1 hit point at the start of its turn to gain these temporary hit points. Temporary hit points do not stack.
If either you or your wendigo is reduced to 0 hit points while the other still has 1 or more hit points, they become Dormant. While Dormant, you or your wendigo take on a semi-transparent ghostly form. Creatures can move through the space of a Dormant creature as though it is unoccupied. If a creature comes out of a Dormant state while another creature is in its space, it is shunted to a random unoccupied space within 5 ft. A Dormant creature can be brought out of this state in two ways. The first is if either you or your wendigo is Dormant and the other is reduced to 0 hit points as well, the wendigo vestige rebinds to your soul and you fall unconscious. The second is if you or your wendigo is Dormant, the other can use a Bonus Action to touch them and siphon hit points to them. A Dormant creature cannot have hit points siphoned to it from any range other than touch.
You may choose to keep the vestige joined with your soul in public spaces as to not rouse suspicion. Your wendigo hungers, and if it is not allowed to eat something freshly slain at least once every three days, it may begin to act out on its own. Refusal or inability to feed the wendigo for a prolonged period of time will draw the ire of The Starved.
Your wendigo gains additional features at 6th, 10th, and 14th level.
Refusal to Starve
Starting at 1st level, when you gain a Warlock level and roll a hit die to determine how many hit points you gain and roll a 1, 2, or 3 on the die, treat it as though you had rolled a 4 instead.
Famished Fortitude
Starting at 6th level, you and your wendigo are proficient in Constitution saving throws.
Feeding Frenzy
Starting at 10th level, as a Bonus Action, you can teleport your wendigo 30 ft. from its current location toward an enemy you have dealt damage to this turn. You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus. You regain all expended uses upon completing a Short or Long Rest.
Wrath of the Wendigo
Starting at 14th level, at the start of your wendigo's turn, you can declare you are using this feature and briefly empower your wendigo. When your wendigo makes a claw attack and it hits, it may make another claw attack. It may make claw attacks until it misses. These additional claw attacks cannot critically strike. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
