Path of The Armour Breaker

A path that specializes in weakening and crushing their enemy's defences through raw strength.

Reckless Rush

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can empower your reckless attacks.

Whenever you hit a creature that is wearing non-magical armour with a reckless attack with a heavy or bludgeoning weapon, lower their AC by 1. When the creature's AC is 5 below the original amount or their AC is below what it would be without armour, the armour shatters.

When hitting a creature with natural armour, the target's AC can only be lowered by a maximum of 3.

Crushing Fury

At 3rd level, you gain this ability:

While raging, your attacks against non-magical objects have advantage and deal additional damage equal to your barbarian level.

Pure Power

At 6th level, you gain this ability:

When using a reckless attack, you now score a critical hit on a 19 or 20.

All critical hits have the effects of Reckless Rush, a critical hit on a Reckless Rush lowers the target's AC by 2.

If the target is wearing magical armour, the target rolls a d20. On a roll of 10 or above, the AC of the armour is reduced.

The DM decides what happens to damaged or broken magical armour, or if this armour is immune.

Reckless Charge

At 6th level, you gain this ability:

Whenever you perform a reckless attack, if the target is armoured you deal an additional 1d4 damage.

When you break a target's armour, the target makes a constitution save against the damage of the attack. On a failed save the target is knocked back 5ft, knock prone and stunned until the end of their next turn.

Powerful Presence

At 10th level, you gain this ability:

While raging, all of your basic attacks trigger Reckless Rush. Reckless attacks trigger the effect of Reckless Rush an additional time.

Brutality

At 14th level, you gain this ability:

While raging, every time you deal damage to a creature, increase your strength score by 1 until the end of the rage. This bonus can go beyond your normal strength cap.
