Base Class: Monk
Blademasters fight not only with their quickness of action, but the grace of their movement and the sharpness of their battle prowess honed over years of training. they practice a form of combat known as Battle Meditation, using this state of heightened focus to fight with extraordinary prowess.
Battle Meditation
Starting when you choose this subclass at 3rd level you gain the ability to spend 1 Ki point to enter a state of Battle Meditation for 1 minute as a bonus action. While in this state, you are able to make melee weapon attacks with your Blademaster weapon(s) in place of unarmed strikes as part of your Martial Arts and Flurry of Blows class features. You gain additional effects while in this state at 6th, 11th, and 17th levels.
Blade Mastery
Starting at 3rd level when you choose this subclass, you gain proficiency with Longswords, Scimitars, and Rapiers. These weapons count as monk weapons for you and you can use your Wisdom modifier in place of your Strength modifier for attack and damage rolls made with these weapons.
Stance of Stone
Starting at 6th level while your Battle Meditation is active you gain a bonus to your AC equal to your Proficiency Modifier. You also gain Blind-sight to a range of 10 feet while your Battle Meditation is active.
Keen Blades
Starting at 11th level while your Battle Meditation is active you gain a bonus to damage rolls with your melee weapon attacks using your Blademaster weapons equal to your Proficiency Modifier and attacks with your Blademaster weapons score a critical hit on a roll of a 19-20.
Flow of Water
Starting at 17th level while your Battle Meditation is active whenever an enemy misses you with a melee attack you can spend one Ki point to immediately follow up with a counterattack with a Blademaster weapon you are currently holding. This attack does not count as your reaction for the round.
