Weapon Maester

At 3rd level you gain proficiency in History, and have advantage on ability checks used to recall the provenience and attributes of historical magical or non-magical weapons. Additionally, the carrying weight of your weapons are considered halved.

Scholar's Expertise

Starting at 3rd level, as a bonus action, you can enter a state of intense concentration that allows you to think back on your years of training and studying. In this state, you can add you Intelligence modifier to the damage roll of any weapon attack. This feature lasts for one minute and, once you use it, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again. 

Starting at 15th level, you can use it twice before a rest.

Tactical Defense

Starting at 7th level, you can use an action to study your enemy's weapons. When you choose to so, any damage you take from that weapon is halved.

You can't use this feature if you can't see your enemy.

Scholar's Assistance

Beginning at 10th level, you can share your weapons expertise with your allies during combat. As a reaction, you can choose to give a bonus to the attack roll of a creature you can see, equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Improved Scholar's Expertise

You can now use your Scholar's Expertise feature twice per rest.

Scholar's Critical

Beginning at 18th level, while you're under the effects of your Scholar's Expertise, you can roll the number of D6 equal to your Intelligence modifier when determining the extra damage for a critical hit with a weapon attack.
