Base Class: Sorcerer
The source of your sorcerous magic is magic itself. Those born during cataclysmic magical events or of ancestors that toyed with arcane powers beyond mortal grasp have the threads of their fate become entwined with the Weave itself. Since as long as you remember, you are intimately attuned to the faint magic that surrounds all things and have learned to manipulate it as easily as you breathe. Casting mundane spells is an effortless thing to you and you've used this genius to make away with the mundane worries of everyday life or to pepper your foes with a barrage of cantrips.
The archetypal Arcane Prodigies often misunderstands simple problems, as they have never known a time when a touch of magic was not the solution to every hardship. Some exploit their immense potential to enrich themselves. Others quickly become bored of a life without challenges and seek the thrills of adventure as a way to truly show the extent of their heroic prowess. Those with enough compassion to use their gift for good quickly become a pillar of their community and a quick asset to adventuring parties.
Prodigious Magic
1st level Arcane Prodigy feature
By taking additional time to gather the magical energy around you, you can cast spells without expending a spells slot. You gain the Ritual Casting feature and you can cast a Sorcerer spell as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag and you have the spell learned. You cannot apply metamagic options to rituals.
You also learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Prodigious Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know. Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list, and must be a divination or evocation spell or have the ritual tag.
| Sorcerer Level | Spells |

| 3rd | Arcanist's Magic Aura, Levitate |

Magic Genius
1st level Arcane Prodigy feature
Your familiarity with magic invigorates you with inspiring confidence. For one minute after you cast a Sorcerer spell you know, you benefit from magical guidance similar to the effect of the Guidance spell. Once before the effect ends, you can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to one ability check of your choice, or a d6 if you used a metamagic option when casting the spell. You can roll the die before or after making the ability check. The effect then ends. You cannot benefit from both Magic Genius and Guidance on the same ability check.
You can roll a Magic Genius dice a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per day, and regain all expended uses after a long rest.
Surge of Magic
6th-level Arcane Prodigy feature
Your spells attract ambient magic like a magnet. When you cast a Sorcerer spell you know, you can apply one of the following effects to one creature you see affected by it:
Arcane Infusion. A willing creature gains temporary hit points equal to your charisma modifier + the level of the spell (+0 for cantrips) for one minute.
Arcane Dispersion. The target gains advantage on saving throws against magical effects and spells for one minute.
Arcane Implosion. You can add your charisma modifier to one damage roll of the spell for that creature only.
Arcane Effusion. For one minute, the target becomes visible to effects that can detect magic auras, such as Detect Magic. The spell school detected is the same as the spell you cast to activate this effect.
At level 18, you are no longer limited to one target and can apply surge of magic to a number of creatures you see affected by your spell of your choosing. All targets are affected by the same surge of magic effect you chose.
Prodigious Metamancy
14th-level Arcane Prodigy feature
As a bonus action, you can enter a state of heightened attunement to the arcane forces of the world for 10 minutes. While in this state, any time you apply a metamagic option to a spell, you can apply a second, different option you know to the same spell. All sorcery point costs apply as usual for both effects. At the end of every round during which you spent a sorcery point on a metamagic option during prodigious metamancy, you regain one sorcery point.
Prodigious metamancy ends at the start of your round if you are incapacitated or if you did not use a metamagic option since the start of your previous round.
You can activate prodigious metamancy a number of times equal to your charisma modifier, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Torrent of Magic
18th-level Arcane Prodigy feature
Your affinity to magic has turned you into a walking font of arcane power. You gain the following abilities:
- You can produce enough power to cast spells even when affected by an antimagic effect, such as an Antimagic Field. When under such an effect, you can cast a spell without it being suppressed by spending a number of sorcery points equal to the spell's level. Spells cast this way with a duration longer than instantaneous are suppressed by antimagic at the end of your next turn instead of immediately. The spell otherwise behaves as if it was cast before the antimagic effect became active.
- Dispel Magic and Counterspell cast against your spells must always make an ability check regardless of the spell level and have disadvantage.
- When you use your Font of Magic feature to create spell slots, you can instead give these spell slots to another willing creature you are touching. You can only grant spell slots for a spell level the creature has access to. Spell slots granted this way disappear after 1 hour if unused.
Additionally, your Surge of Magic feature can now be applied to all creatures affected by a spell you cast, rather than just one.
