Base Class: Barbarian
Some Barbarians seek to use the sky as an arena to meet their ends. Those who walk the Path of the High Wind harness energy from the elemental plane of air to fuel the primal bloodlust born from rage. Derived from the ancient teachings of the Dragoon warriors, these barbarians are capable of unrivalled acrobatic ability, leaping into the sky with furious intent - that intent indeed being of a violent nature.
Leap of Anger
While raging, use may expend one use of this feature to leap ten feet into the air as part of one of your attacks. This will grant you advantage to hit with your melee weapon attack and you can add 1d6 bludgeoning damage to your attack, however, you will also take the same d6 of damage. You may only use this feature once per round of combat.
This increases to 2d6 and 20ft at 9th level and 3d6 and 30ft at 17th level in the barbarian class. This type of attack does not provoke attacks of opportunity as it is part of the same attack, and the attacker will land within the melee range of their foe.
This feature is useable a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. Additionally, you gain access to the Prestidigitation cantrip
Whirling Thrust
Beginning at 6th level, the elemental energy from the plane of air can provide supernatural propulsion to you in a moment of need.
If a flying creature or object is within your movement range at the start of your turn, you may use your Leap of Anger feature to hit them. Doing so in this way will consume two uses of the Leap of Anger Feature.
At 10th level, you may use this feature to aid in climbing or leaping to a point of interest. Additionally, you gain the Jump and Gust of Wind spells.
Nimble Landing
At 10th level, you gain the ability to land gently after sufficient practice and perfection of your Primal Path's abilitites.
While raging you are immune to damage from falling up to 50 ft, including the damage taken from Leap of Anger. Additionally, you gain advantage on Acrobatics checks.
Sky Shatter
At 14th level, your extraplanar connection continues to flourish. As an attack, you may leap into the air using the same rules as Leap of Anger. When doing so, you conjure four javelins of pure energy, created from the unbridled chaos of the Plane of Air. Roll to hit with each javelin, with advantage. Each javelin does 2d6 force damage plus your strength modifier.
You may use this feature once per short rest.
