Base Class: Druid
From Arctic tundra's, to frigid mountain tops, and down into the frozen oceans. These places are considered some of the most barren and uninhabitable places upon in the world and yet such environments harbor uniquely hardy and diverse wildlife. Powerful beasts call the frigid Arctic depths home. Lumbering polar bears ilk out a living in the desolate frozen landmasses of the North and South. Clever Arctic foxes conceal themselves within snowy banks. Pristine delicate flowers breach the surface wherever the snow parts.
Druids of the blizzard are uniquely aware of the beauty and power of nature in its most frozen forms. They perceive the cold as a catalyst for the development of great power and artistry. Members of this circle tend to believe that through great hardship and tenacity incredible powers can be harnessed. They recognize that adversity breeds creativity. Those who embrace this circle have often witnessed the raw transformative power of frozen desolation and look for ways to harness that power and improve themselves. Tapping into the latent magic's within the natural environment or convening with powerful ancient sprits, Druid's who belong to this circle perceive hardship as a challenge to overcome expecting to forge themselves through ice and come out stronger at the end.

Aspect of the Blizzard
2nd-level Circle of the Blizzard feature
As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to take on an aspect of the blizzard, rather than transforming into a beast.
While in your aspect of the blizzard, you retain your game statistics and keep your physical form but gain the ability to affect certain changes upon the world around you. The form lasts for 10 minutes. It ends early if you dismiss it (no action required), are incapacitated, die, or use this feature again. While in this form you may cast spells as normal.
Whenever you assume your aspect of the blizzard, choose which of the following aspects you take on; your choice gives you certain benefits while using this aspect:
Snowstorm You emanate an aura that creates a swirling vortex of snow and ice for 15 feet around you. Mele and ranged and spell attacks made by you and your allies within this aura add your wisdom modifier to their damage rolls. The damage type is Cold as the snow from your storm enhances the attacks of yourself and your allies.
When you reach 10th level in this class, the range of the aura increases to 20 feet and further improvements are added.
Shard You emanate an aura that turns the land around you within 30 feet into a field strewn with hazardous chunks of ice. While in this form you can cause a shard of ice to erupt from the ground protecting allies. When a creature within 30 feet of you is the target of an attack, you can use your reaction to cause a shard to erupt from the ground granting your ally half cover. The shard remains granting half cover until the beginning of the allies next turn.
When you reach 10th level in this class, the range of the aura increases to 20 feet and further improvements are added.
Ice Sheet You emanate an aura that turns the land around you within 30 feet to a sheet of ice. Your walking speed increases by 10 feet. In addition, if you aren’t incapacitated, the walking speed of any ally who starts their turn within 30 feet of you increases by 10 feet until the end of their turn. The speed of any enemy who started their turn within 30 feet of you has their walking speed decreased by 10 feet until the end of that turn. This feature does not affect liquid surfaces, swim speeds, or flying speeds.
When you reach 10th level in this class the range of the aura increases by 20 feet and improvements are added.
Weather the Storm
6th-level Circle of the Blizzard feature
While in an Aspect of the Blizzard you may use a bonus action to change which aura is active without expending a wild shape while.
You gain resistance to Cold damage.
Harness the Storm
10th-level Circle of the Blizzard feature
The strength of your Aspect of the Blizzard improves. All 3 auras increase their range by 20 feet. Moreover, you gain the following benefits.
Snowstorm While this Aspect is active you gain a flying speed of 30 feet.
Shard While this aspect is active you may use a reaction when you take damage, you can entomb yourself in ice, which melts away at the end of your next turn. You gain 100 temporary hit points which take as much of the triggering damage as possible. Immediately after you take the damage, you gain vulnerability to fire damage, your speed is reduced to 0, and you are incapacitated. These effects, including any remaining temporary hit points, all end when the ice melts. This feature can be used only once per long rest.
Ice Sheet While in this aura if an enemy wishes to use their movement they must first make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell DC. On a failure they fall prone. The aura turns any liquid surface beneath your feet to ice within its radius. The Ice is thick enough to stand on but can be broken through with an attack roll. The Ice has an AC of 15 and 20 hit points.
Shatter The Storm
14th-level Circle of the Blizzard feature
While in your Aspect of the Blizzard you may chose to use an action to shatter the storm. Doing so drops your wild shape causing all effects to disappear. Upon doing so you may immediately cast Freezing Sphere without using a spell slot or any required components.
