Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of Quelling learn to exert their peace to others. They are wandering defenders against the chaotic spirits of Vyr.

Those who follow the Way of Quelling might be members of a religious order, serving the remains of the old gods and keeping peace amongst the shattered remains of the green lady's religion. Some might be those who found inner peace and walk the land sharing that peace.

Boon of Peace

Starting at 3rd level, you can invoke your inner peace to enter a state of pure calmness. As an action you can spend 2 ki points to enter this state for 10 minutes, while in this state you gain the following benefits:

-you have advantage on saving throws against charms and frightens
-you have advantage on charisma checks against humanoids

When you activate your boon of peace you gain temporary hp equal to 2 rolls of your martial arts dice + your proficiency bonus.

Eye for the Unwilling

Your mastery of inner peace allows you to know when a creature's will is not its own. As an action you can make an insight check against a creature you can see, the target contests this with a deception check. On a success you know if this creature is charmed or under a charm like effect.

Aura of stillness

Starting at 6th level, you can extend your boon of peace in a shimmering aura. As a bonus action, or as part of the action you take to activate Boon of Peace, you can spend 1 ki point to extend your peace into this  30ft aura for 10 minutes. It vanishes early if you are incapacitated or die.

When this aura is first activated you replicate the effects of the spell calm emotions using your ki dc in a 30ft. radius. You still need to concentrate on this effect as if it is a spell, this effect only lasts up to 10 minutes and can not be activated again while your boon of peace is active.

While this aura is present your allies within 30ft gain the benefits of the boon of peace, your allies can only maintain these benefits as long as they have the temp hp from the boon of peace.

Silencing Strikes

At 11th level you have learned to strike silence into the minds of your enemies. When you use flurry of blows you can spend 3 ki points to replicate the effect of dispel magic against the target. In addition if a creature casts a spell within 10ft of you, you may use your reaction to spend 3 ki points to replicate the effects of counterspell.

Dampening Aura

Starting at 17th level, you’ve honed your awareness and reflexes through mental aptitude and a silent mind. Once per turn, if you’ve already taken your reaction, you may spend 1 ki point to take an additional reaction. You can use only one reaction per triggering effect.

In addition, your peace allows you to weaken the strikes of aggressors within your aura of stillness. As a reaction you can reduce the damage made from an attacker within your aura of stillness, the attack is reduced by 2d10+monk level damage.
