Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Some Wizards prefer to dedicate themselves to mastering a singular school of Magic. Other wizards find ways to utilize their Magic in new and interesting ways. You, however, have decided to dedicate yourself to learning the underlying principles of Magic, and even knowledge itself! You and your use your magic as a means to an end to learn the secrets held within the multiverse, believing that magic is the most important core principle that pervades the world around you. Your time is spent studying intricate runes, tracking down vortices of magical leylines, and positing new theories to any who will listen. Through these rigorous thought experiments you hone your craft and slowly unravel the threads of the world around you.

Know-it-all

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, you may choose 2 of the following skills: Arcana, History, Medicine, Nature, or Religion.
Upon selecting these skills; If you are not already proficient with one or both of these skills you gain proficiency in them. If you are already proficient, you instead double your proficiency bonus for any ability check you make that uses either of the chosen proficiencies.

Magical Intuition

Beginning at 2nd level, You learn how to read the magical aura of items with ease incomparable to any other. Merely by touching an item for a few scant seconds you can read the magical signature inherent in its design. You always count as having the Identify spell prepared. In addition, you may, as an action (ignoring the normal casting time for the spell) cast Identify a number of times per day equal to your Proficiency Bonus. You regain the uses of this feature at the end of a Long Rest

The Threads of History Remain

Starting at 6th level, you may peer past time and start to piece together the history of a location. By concentrating for a full minute you can read these threads potentially gaining insight into what has happened here. At the end of this minute, you may make an Arcana(Intelligence) or History(Intelligence) check against a DC determined by the length of time since an Important event occurred here. The Dc's are listed below. The information you gain from this ability is limited and only potentially useful. You learn the names of the most important figures, what major event happened here (E.G. A murder, A war, A foul ritual, etc.), and how long ago it occurred, as well as anything else that the DM believes would be similar in scope.

Well Studied

Infuse the Arcane

Beginning at 10th level, your knowledge lets you make modifications to a spell that you cast with a spell slot. Once during each of your turns you can change the damage type of one spell you use a spell slot to cast, and if you do you may add your Intelligence modifier to one damage roll of that spell. This counts as the same type of damage the spell dealt. You may use this a number of times equal to your Intelligence bonus. You regain the uses of this feature at the end of a long rest.

Unerring knowledge

By 14th level, you are able to call to mind information that most other people forget with relative ease. Whenever you make an Arcana, History, Medicine, Nature, or Religion checj you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

Master of Magic

Your unceasing quest for knowledge had guided you into a means of weaving the roots of magic that would normally be unintelligible to you. At 14th level, you can choose one spell of a level you could cast from any other spell list and add it to your own. Your spellcasting ability is Intelligence when casting this spell. You may, after a long rest and an hour of uninterrupted concentration, change the spell you have added to your spell list to a new one.
