Base Class: Monk

Monks who practice the Way of the Stormfist find order in the perceived chaos of storm. Through rigorous training, observations, and meditation on the aspects of the storm, the monk learns to channel its ferocity. In some lore, it is believed that the mighty storm giants are the founders of the Way of the Stormfist and are the only ones able to bring out its true power, but sometimes they introduce the basics of their technique to lower races to see how they interpret the chaos of the storm.

Storm Strikes

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your Flurry of Blows can be used as additional bonus actions in a single turn. In addition, the monk may spend an additional double the ki for additional uses of Flurry of Blows in the same turn. (2 ki for 2nd use, 4 ki for 3rd use, etc.)

Storm Cloak

At the 6th level, the monk learns to incorporate the force of lighting into their attacks. The monk activates the cloak as a bonus action. While the cloak is active, the monk deals an additional 1d4 of thunder damage each strike. The cloak lasts for a number of rounds equal to your monk level. This Feat can be used a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier + 1 per long rest.

Giant Form

At the 11th level, the monk learns to embody the spirits of the giant. As a bonus action, you increase your size category by 1. Your attack die is scaled up by one step. While in Giant Form, you gain resistance to cold, thunder, and lightning damage. This Feat can be used 3 times per long rest and lasts a number of rounds equal to half your monk level rounded up.

At the 20th level, the monk learns to embody the truly embody the Storm Giant. Your size category is increased by 2 steps, and so is your attack die. You become immune to thunder and lightning damage. This can be used at will.

Avatar of the Storm

At the 17th level, the monk learns to release the wrath of the storm. While Thunder Cloak is active, all melee attacks may be made as a 30ft line attack or 15ft cone with a dex save for half damage.
