Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians of the Path of the Vengeful break the stereotype of a wild and chaotic warrior, instead choosing to only fight when provoked or outright attacked. While still capable of extreme carnage, they prefer the quieter moments, focusing on honing their indomitable will and impressive physiques. On the battlefield, they shrug off fatal blows as if they were made of adamantine, and deliver devastating counterattacks. Woe betide those who pick a fight with one who has chosen the Path of the Vengeful, for they will see the fury of a patient soul.

Vengeful Strike

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can make devastating counterattacks on those who would dare strike you. As a reaction, when you are hit with an attack, damaging spell, or damaging effect while raging, you can gain resistance to the damage of the attack. If the attacker is within 15 feet of you, you may make an attack as part of this reaction, using your CON modifier for the attack and damage rolls. This attack deals 1d8+CON+Rage Bonus force damage. This damage increases to 2d8 at 7th level, 3d8 at 11th, 4d8 at 15th, and 6d8 at 20th.

Iron Will

Beginning at 6th level, while raging, you have proficiency in Wisdom Saving Throws.

Revenge Counter

Starting at 10th level, you can store the energy of attacks made against you and unleash a cataclysmic wave of destruction. Each time you take damage from an enemy, you store a charge. All stored charges last for 1 minute, or until you go unconscious or your rage ends and you can store a number of charges equal to your barbarian level. As an action, you may expend all stored charges, causing an explosion centered on you. For every charge, you deal 1d8 force damage and increase the radius by 5 feet. (E.X. 15 charges=15d8 damage, 75 foot radius)

Vengeful Beyond Death

Starting at 14th level, whenever you use your Relentless Rage Feature, the creature that would have knocked you unconscious automatically takes your Vengeful Strike damage. If you have any stored charges, you automatically expend them upon returning to 1 hit point.
