Base Class: Monk

A Way of the Sensei Monk's have a reservoir of experience that they rely on in fights and in life. A Way of the Sensei monk's goal revolves around self-improvement and to help others improve through encouraging them to try everything the world has to offer.

Disciplined Counter

Starting at 3rd level, you learn to take advantage of a creature's aggressive nature. If a creature within 5ft of you misses an attack on you while you are under the effects of the Dodge Action or Patient Defense Bonus Action, you may immediately use your reaction to make a single Unarmed Strike (Disciplined Counter) against that creature. If your Disciplined Counter hits, you may either regain 1 ki point, if possible, or the targeted creature cannot take any reactions until the end of your next turn.

The Tools of the Tutor

As a Way of the Sensei Monk, you aim to help others through sharing your wisdom and experience with them.

At 3rd level you gain access to the 2 cantrips; Guidance and Viscous Mockery.

Guardian of the Students

At 6th level, when you take the Deflect Missiles reaction, you may spend 1 Ki point to increase the range of the reaction by 10 ft to catch or deflect a ranged attack targeting another creature. If you reduce the damage of the missile to 0, you still may spend a 1 Ki point to make a ranged attack with the weapon or piece of ammunition you just caught, as part of the same reaction.

Become your Master

At 11th level, you train your body and mind beyond their limits and are unfazed by anyone who challenges you. You become immune to Psychic damage, resistant to Force Damage, and are immune to the Frightened Condition.

Relentless Willpower

At 11th level, you can mentally push you and your allies' willpower to the limits. You and friendly creatures within 15 ft of you have advantage on Wisdom Saving throws caused by a spell of a hostile creature.

Crafty Combatant

At 17th level, you are able to to protect your allies by redirecting an enemies attacks towards you. As an action, you can target up to 2 creatures you can see within 90ft of you and taunt them, by whatever means, method  to attack you. The targeted Creature/s must success a wisdom saving throw equal to your Ki save DC (8 + your proficiency bonus + Wisdom Modifier) or be forced to use their actions to attack you, and only, you for 1 minute. The targeted creatures can still hit you and allies with area of effect spells but spells that select a number of targets can only target you. A creature that makes a successful Wisdom Saving throw is immune to this action until you complete a long rest.
