Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Third Eye channel their Ki to use mystical powers of divination. They can use their inner energy to affect the outcome of events for friend and foe alike. As they learn to harness their energy they become more skilled in their abilities to predict events.
Gaze of the Third Eye
When you reach level 17, you have managed to focus your Ki to open the Third Eye and effect the world around you in powerful ways.
By spending 4 Ki points, you can now case the spell Foresight. Touching a willing creature allows it to see into the immediate future. For the duration of this spell, the target cannot be surprised and has advantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws. Additionally, other creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls against the target for the duration.
This spell ends immediately if it is recast before the duration ends.
Finding the Eye
As you learn to channel your Ki for the purposes of improving outcomes for you and your friends, when you choose this path at 3rd level, you learn the Guidance and True Strike cantrips.
Opening the Eye
At 6th level, you gain the ability to influence the world around you in profound ways. You can the ability to cast Bless and Bane.
Each spell takes 1 action and costs 1 Ki point.
Focusing the Eye
As you learn to harness your Ki to effect the world around you, you learn to train your sight on an enemy of your choice. You can spend 2 Ki points to cast Hunter's Mark on an enemy.
Your inner eye focuses on the enemy and you channel your psychic power to enhance your attacks against said enemy. You deal an extra 1d6 psychic damage to the target whenever you hit it with a monk weapon attack, and you have advantage on any Wisdom (Perception) or Wisdom (Survival) check you make to find it. The spell lasts 1 hour. If the target drops to 0 hit points during this time, the spell CANNOT be moved to a new target and must be recast.
