Black Mage

Black Mages are known for the most powerful and devastating spells that the world has to offer. They have mastered the arcane arts to cause devastation on the battle field. They are both feared and respected for their gift. They are forever seeking greater knowledge and power for their craft. There are some black mages that seek out arcane knowledge to keep from falling into the wrong hands    

Mana Font

Beginning when you select this arch-type at 2nd level, it lets you see the magic of spell books in the area around you. It also reduces the amount of gold and time to copy the spell or spells within the book.

Sharp Cast

Sharp Cast allows you to add your intelligences modifier to your initiative rolls.

Ley Lines

At 6th level, as a bonus action you can connect to the natural flowing magic of the earth around you, to create a circle of power that increases your attack by 1d6 on the damage roll. This effect will increase by a d6 for every 2 levels in this class. You can use this ability an equal number of times to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses on a long rest.

Mana Ward

Creates a barrier that offsets incoming damage by 1d8 plus your intelligence modifier (minimum of 1). Any creature that is within 10 feet of you takes force damage equal to half of your wizard level. 

Triple Cast

At 14th level, you have learned to harness the very power of chaos to cause devastating amounts of damage to your opponents. You can use a bonus action to cast 1 spell 3 times in a single attack action. But in doing so you lose out on any extra attacks that you have on that turn, along with all movement speed for the next 10 minutes. If used with any spell that is or casted as 9th level, you loses 50 hit points plus your wizard level. You can't use this ability until the next dawn.
