Monk
Base Class: Monk

As a Master of Flame Fu, you will learn to bend the element of Fire to augment your fighting capabilities.

Palms of Fire

At 3rd level, whenever you hit a creature with an Unarmed Melee Attack, the target takes Fire damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.

This damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class. At 6th level, the target takes 1d4 + your Wisdom modifier in Fire damage. At 11th level, the target takes 1d6 + your Wisdom modifier in Fire damage. At 17th level, the target takes 1d8 + your Wisdom modifier in Fire damage.

Trial by Fire

Also at 3rd level, you learn the Disperse Flames and Flame Kick spells.

At 5th level, you learn the Burst of Flames spell and may spend 2 Ki Points to cast Burning Hands at 1st level. The level at which you cast Burning Hands increases depending on the number of Ki Points spent, up to a maximum of 6 Ki Points.

Burning Frenzy

At 6th level, your attacks and spells ignore Resistance to Fire damage.

In addition, when you spend a Ki Point to use Flurry of Blows, or take the Attack Action on your turn, you may spend 1 Ki Point to replace one of the attacks with a cantrip that you know. The cantrip must deal Fire damage.

Intense Heat

Starting at 11th level, your attacks and spells treat immunity to Fire damage as Resistance.

In addition, when you make an Opportunity Attack, you may spend 1 Ki Point to cast Flame Kick on the target instead.

Master of Energy

At 17th level, you have gained total control over the Fiery Energy that runs through your veins. As such, as an Action, you may spend 3 Ki Points to cast Lightning Bolt at 3rd level. The level at which the spell is cast increases by 1 for every additional Ki Point spent, up to a maximum of 7 Ki Points. When you cast the spell in this way, you ignore Resistance to Lightning damage and treat Immunity to Lightning damage as Resistance.

In addition, when you cast a spell that deals Fire or Lightning damage, you may spend 5 Ki Points to negate the damage roll and instead deal damage of that type equal to twice your Monk level + your Wisdom score. You must finish a Long Rest before using this feature again.
