Base Class: Warlock
Apprenticed to an archmage or powerful magic users, Warlocks of the Archmage pursue a different path of arcane tutelage from wizards. While they might begin as servants or wards, these warlocks can become just as powerful as the masters to which they are bound, growing stronger together as the warlock acts on the Archmages behalf.
Expanded Spell List
The Archmage lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Signature Cantrip
When you make a pact with an archmage, you can select one damaging cantrip from the wizard spell list. It receives the following benefits:
- Once per turn when you hit a creature with your signature cantrip, you can add your proficiency bonus to one damage roll
- When you cast a spell using one of your warlock spell slots, you can cast your signature cantrip as a bonus action.
- After selecting your signature cantrip, you can choose to change the damage type to either acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison damage. You can change or reset the damage type during a long rest.
Wizardly Invocations
Starting at 6th level, you can learn two additional eldritch invocations of your choice, but they must be from the spell-based invocations that allow you to cast a spell at will, once per long rest, or at the expense of a warlock pact slot.
Whenever you gain a level, you can change out one of your wizardly invocations for another.
Spell Expulsion
Starting at 10th level, if you don’t know the spell already, you learn counterspell, it doesn’t count against your total warlock spells known, and you can cast it once per long rest without expending a warlock spell slot. When you successfully cast counterspell, you can immediately cast your signature cantrip at the target as a part of the reaction.
Mage Arcanum
Starting at 14th level, you can tap into your patron's magic to replenish your own. Once per long rest, as an action, you can regain either one expanded pact slot or restore one of your expended mystic arcanum.
