Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Many archetypal rogues rely on darkness to achieve their ends, but no one has a deeper understanding of the dark than the Shadow. You have trained to meld yourself into the darkness, with a knack for the unseen.

Eyes of Night

At third level, you have darkvision to a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision, its range extends by 30 feet. Additionally, being in darkness or dim light does not impose disadvantage on your Wisdom (Perception) checks.

Nocturnal Stealth

Also at third level, you can attempt to hide even when you are obscured only by darkness rather than physical cover. When you make a Dexterity (Stealth) check while in dim light or darkness, you gain a bonus to the roll equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Intuitive Strike

At 9th level, you have become used to fighting under cover of darkness. Being unable to see a creature does not impose disadvantage on your attack rolls against it.

Invisible Sight

At 13th level, you can cast see invisibility without a spell slot or material or verbal components. If you are in dim light or darkness when you do so, you also become invisible until you make an attack, cast a spell, or enter an area of bright light.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Star Strike

At 17th level, you know better than most how powerful a little light can be. When you are fighting in dim light or darkness, you can use a bonus action to imbue your weapons with light. The next creature you hit with a weapon attack takes 2d6 radiant damage in addition to the weapon’s normal damage, and it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or be blinded until the end of your next turn.

You can use this bonus action a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you recover all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
