Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You have been touched by the Void; an empty, boundless and incomprehensible existence, older and more powerful than any living entity. Perhaps you had a chance encounter with an aberrant entity or stumbled into an extraplanar rift as a child.

As a Voidtouched sorcerer, you wield the hollow power of emptiness itself. But to tap into the power of the Void is to invite destruction on one's very soul, as the Void erodes and consumes all that it reaches without mercy. Despite its terrifying nature, you’ve come to understand that the Void plays an integral part for existence, for it is within its boundless nothingness that existence came to be and it is there that it shall also meet its end.

Grasp of the Void

At 1st level, you can push and pull both creatures and objects like the void. After casting a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can use your bonus action and choose one of the spell’s targets. The chosen target is either pushed 10 feet away from you, or pulled 10 feet towards you (your choice).

In addition, whenever you use this feature, you can spend any number of sorcery points to increase the range at which you can push or pull creatures by 5 feet per sorcery point you spend.

Fading Presence

At 1st level, you are as fleeting and enigmatic as the void itself. All creatures suffer a penalty to Wisdom (Insight) checks made against you equal to your Charisma modifier. In addition, any creature who has interacted with you for less than 1 hour has disadvantage on any Intelligence checks made to recall information about you. If 24 hours have passed since the encounter, a creature will have forgotten you exist and their memories surrounding the encounter will be hazy and incomplete.

Void Magic

Also at 1st level, you’ve learnt how to innately cast certain magical spells related to the unfathomable and endless void. You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Voidtouched Spells table. Each spell counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Voidtouched Spells
Sorcerer Level Spells
1st bane, false life
3rd darkness, silence
5th blink, vampiric touch
7th black tentacles, dimension door
9th telekinesisteleportation circle

Veiled Existence

At 6th level, the void has permanently shrouded you in its fathomless darkness. You cannot be targeted by divination magic and are immune to spells and effects that would sense your emotions or read your thoughts.

Void Incarnate

At 14th level, you’ve learnt how to channel the gluttonous might of the void. Whenever you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, the creature is disintegrated into nothingness. After doing so, you gain temporary hit points equal to your sorcerer level.

Call Oblivion

At 18th level, you’ve learnt how to summon a fragment of the void itself. As an action, you can conjure a 30-foot-radius sphere of magical darkness centered on a space within 60 feet of you. The sphere lasts for 1 minute, until you choose to dismiss it, or until you are knocked unconscious. Any creature of your choice that moves into the area or begins its turn inside of it, must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 6d6 force damage and has its speed reduced to 0 until the beginning of its next turn. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and suffers no reduction to its speed. A creature killed by this feature is disintegrated into nothingness.

You can use this feature once per long rest, unless you spend 5 sorcery points to use it again.
