Base Class: Fighter
A master of a unique style of single-bladed sword combat, masters of Crimson Moon Style specialize in quick-draw sword techniques, striking down enemies with a single fluid motion using the sword forms they have worked so hard to master.
Crimson Moon Stance
Starting at 3rd level, you can sheathe your sword and enter a ready stance, preparing to strike with deadly precision. As a bonus action, if you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you can choose to sheathe your weapon and extend the range of your senses to prepare for your next move. While in this state, you gain access to your various Sword Forms that you can use to strike quickly and efficiently. In addition, as your senses become heightened, you become aware of any and all living (even invisible or otherwise hidden) creatures that are within 10 feet of you. This stance lasts until the beginning of your next turn, or until you use one of your Sword Forms.
After using one of the Sword Forms, you are then considered to have left the stance and must re-enter it on your next turn. You can do this a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier, and regain all expended uses upon taking a short rest.
Sword Forms
Starting at 3rd level, you have gained the ability to use the powerful Sword Forms that are indicative of the Crimson Moon Style.
First Form: First Quarter. On your turn, if you would make a melee attack, you can take the Dash action as part of the same action, moving until you make your first attack of that turn. This movement does not elicit opportunity attacks.
Second Form: Waxing Crescent. As a reaction, if a creature would elicit an opportunity attack against you, you can choose to ride the momentum with a sweeping weapon strike, making an additional opportunity attack against every creature (friend or foe) within reach of your weapon.
Third Form: Waning Gibbous. On your turn, if you would make a melee attack against an enemy creature, you can choose to add your Wisdom modifier to the damage dealt by any melee attacks you make that turn. If your weapon has the Versatile trait, then these attacks are done as if you're holding it with two hands.
Enlightened Swordplay
Starting at 7th level, while in your Crimson Moon Stance, the range of your enhanced senses becomes 20 feet. While in your Crimson Moon Stance, you gain an additional +1 to your AC. In addition, you gain access to the following Sword Forms:
Fourth Form: Waxing Gibbous. If you are hit with a melee attack on your turn, you can make an attack against that creature, at advantage, without using a reaction. This is considered an attack of opportunity.
Fifth Form: Full Moon. On your turn, if you would hit an enemy with multiple attacks on that turn, you can choose to forgo all of those attacks in exchange for one massive swing, at advantage. The damage die for that attack is multiplied by the number of attacks that are part of that action, and receives the normal modifier for damage (for example, two attacks with a 1d8 damage die = 2d8, three attacks with a 1d6 damage die = 3d6, etc.). This attack is considered a critical hit on an 18, 19, or 20.
Sixth Form: Third Quarter. If an invisible, or otherwise undetectable, creature would enter the range of your enhanced senses, you can, as a reaction, reveal it. If the revealed creature is within range, you can make an attack of opportunity against it as part of the same reaction.
Breathing Techniques
Starting at 10th level, your mastery of the style has granted you the ability to recover your stamina and maintain your focus, even in the midst of battle. When you roll initiative and have no uses of Crimson Moon Stance remaining, you regain one use.
Perfected Draw
Starting at 15th level, you have mastered all of the intricacies of the Crimson Moon Style. You have unlocked the final three forms of the sword style, and the range of your enhanced senses while in your Crimson Moon Stance has increased to 30 feet.
Seventh Form: New Moon. As a reaction, if you or a creature (or creatures) within range of your enhanced senses would take damage from a single effect, you can choose to cancel all damage to yourself and allies from that effect.
Eighth Form: Waning Crescent. The first attack that you make this turn, you make at advantage. If that attack is successful, it is considered a critical. You must choose to use this form before you make the attack.
Ninth Form: Crimson Eclipse. If you would make multiple attacks on your turn, you can make each attack against a different target. If you choose to do this, and the attack is successful, the afflicted target must make a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw or be Stunned. If you used your Action Surge on the turn that you would use this form, then the second action of this turn is also affected by this form. You cannot use this form if you have moved on your turn, and after using this form, your Movement Speed is reduced to 0.
Final Form
Starting at level 18, you have become a true master of Crimson Moon Style. There is no limit on how many times you can use your Crimson Moon Stance. In addition, you have gained access to the ultimate art of the Crimson Moon Style.
Secret Art: Crimson Umbra. Once per long rest, as an action, you can make a melee attack against every enemy within the range of your enhanced senses, simultaneously.
