Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

A gruesome death has been delivered to you. However, be it by deed, final wish, or happenstance, an entity of death has noticed you and is willing to give you a second chance. This comes at a steep price, your soul is promised to this entity but as long as you don't die and remain dead, again, you can live in undeath forever.

Hope in Death

Starting at 1st level, Your patron would like to at least try to give you a proper Fighting chance. Maybe if you knew your way around a weapon and some armor you wouldn't have died in the first place. Gain martial weapons and medium armor proficiencies.

Death Runes

At 1st level, The Death entity places anchors on your soul, appearing as death runes. It's to lure you in if you are dead for an extended period of time. However it's also how this entity can directly grant you special abilities.

You are granted a number of Death Runes equal to your proficiency that you can distribute as you wish, throughout your body.

Soul Patchwork

At 6th level, Your patron has bound a spectral arm to your soul from the Shadowfell. This arm can interact with objects as if it were part of your body, and can be hidden within your being as you wish. With this arm you may roll an attack with a weapon as part of an action you took to cast a spell. This attack is made using your Charisma as its attack bonus and if it lands it deals extra Necrotic damage equal to your Cha Mod. At level 12, you gain another spectral arm, allowing you to roll 2 weapon attacks, but they must be different weapons.

Rune Drain

At 10th level, As an action, you may expend the energy of a death rune to cast a spell. Casting a spell this way increases its attack bonus or spell save DC by your Charisma modifier and the spell is cast at your highest spell level.

To recharge a death rune, you must take a Long rest. At level 18 you only need a short rest.

Dome of Desecration

Finally at 14th level, As an action, become a reflection of your patron for a brief moment. For 1 minute, Creatures of your choosing within 60 ft must make a constitution save as you place a death rune on them. New creatures that walk within this zone must also make the save. Creatures with your patron's death rune take your level in necrotic damage at the start of your turns. Also, creatures with death runes must make a wisdom save before rolling an attack on you and if they attempt to run farther than 60 ft from you. Failures on these rolls will force the attacker to target a new creature or inhibit the creature from exiting the dome. All spells and attacks made against creatures with your patron's death rune are made with advantage.
