Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The Drafter is a chromatic magic user, able to 'draft' the chromatic elements from their surroundings whether it be pigmentation or pull straight from the spectrum of light. Each color provides a different use case as well as an emotional stimuli. When drafting a certain element they are hit with the corresponding emotion, but only drafting a large amount will make the emotion uncontrollable.

When 'drafted' the chromatic elements take on a certain formation as such:

Red: A viscous, flammable, gooey substance. Bringing on a volatile, angry emotional response.

Green: Vile, acidic liquid. Brings on a feeling of vitriol and disgust.

Blue: A strong, sturdy construction with a smooth appearance. Brings a feeling of order and calm.

Yellow: A liquid that quickly evaporated releasing its energy, useful for lighting Red Chroma. Derived directly from light itself albeit in a smaller manner. Brings a short surge of energy and positive emotion.

Superviolet: An extremely subtle yet vibrant Chroma. Drafted in extremely small portions mainly for superficial use cases such as calligraphy, stamps, creating a vibrant marker. When drafted in larger amounts it brings on a feeling of foggy-headedness making them seem distant.

Orange: A heavy, slick and lubricative liquid similar to oil. Brings on a feeling of inquisitiveness.

Luxin Resilience

Training and constantly using the Luxin protection leaves minute residue that builds over time making it appear as though your skin is harder than it should be. At 1st level, your hit point maximum increases by 1 and increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class.

Additionally, you can cover your body in a thin but rigid Blue Chroma. When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier.

Chromatic Sensitivity

At 1st level a magical adept who has an affinity for chromatic abjuration and evocation may become a Drafter. More in-tune with the Chroma around them able to see it and draft it more effectively. Using a Light Prism as your spellcasting focus you are able to consume pigmentation or light from around you to hold onto different Luxins.
You may hold an amount of Luxins equal to your Drafter level. These Luxins would allow you to cast a chromatic spell you would situationally not be able to.
(ex. a Fireball in a field of green with no red in sight.)

In order to cast a spell without the correct chromatic color within range the drafter has to expend Luxins equal to half the Spells Level (rounding up).

1-2: 1 Luxin

3-4: 2 Luxins

5-6: 3 Luxins

7-8: 4 Luxins

9: 5 Luxins

Chroma Surge

Starting at level 6 when you cast a spell with chromatic elements as a bonus action you can draft an additional surge of that element, increasing that spells damage. The spells damage will increase by your Charisma modifier and can be cast a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier plus your Proficiency level.

Lumin Materialization

Starting at 6th level a Drafter is able to utilize a material form of the chromatic elements. Using an action you can draft a chromatic color from your surroundings,
draining that item/location of its pigmentation. Using the Chromatic Element list below, using an action will allow you to draft the material form of a singular element.
This materialization will last for 1 minute if applicable. This can be used a number of timers equal to your Proficiency level per short rest.

Red: Pull from the area around you to create a palm-sized glob of this flammable viscous substance. Making a ranged spell attack you may launch this glob towards an
enemy, if the enemy is hit they will take an additional 1d6 + Charisma modifier in fire damage the next time it takes fire or lightning damage.

Green: Pull from the area around you to create a palm-sized glob of acidic liquid. Making a ranged spell attack you may launch this towards an enemy, if the enemy is
hit they will take 1d8 + Charisma modifier in acid damage. If the target is in Light or No armor this makes them have disadvantage on their next attack role due to the acid eating at them.

Blue: Pull from the area around you to create small structures of Blue Chroma.

Yellow: Pull from the light around you to create a fingertipped size glob of Yellow Chroma that quickly and violently evaporates. Able to ignite and burn objects. Can be sent towards a target as a bonus action.

Superviolet: Pull from the light around you to create a deceptively small bit of Superviolet Chroma commonly used for superficial purposes.

Orange: Pull in from the area around you to create an orange glob of extremely slick but flammable liquid.

Stable Luminosity

Starting at 10th level a Drafter is able to stabilize their Chromatic creations. Using an a spell slot in conjunction with your Lumin Materialization will increase the
effects duration by an amount of hours equal to Spell Slot level x Intelligence ability score. Using this feature out of combat requires 10 minutes of concentration for
every hour of materialization, by focusing on your materialization for 10 hours a day for 1 week you are able to make your materialization permanent. It can still be destroyed by non-magical means.

Kaleidoscopic Materialization

Starting at 14th level a Drafter is able to manipulate 2 Chromatic elements at once. When using Lumin Materialization you are able to use a bonus action to draft an
additional element to create a symbiotic interaction. The Drafter can use this to create surprisingly effective combinations of materializations, such as drafting red then yellow to light it on fire or blue and orange to create a slick slope or a machine with parts that need oiling.

Luxin Retaliation

Starting at 18th level a Drafter can absorb the luxin from chromatic spells and redirect them. This reaction will absorb a chromatic spell, still dealing half damage, and redirect it back at the caster. This can be counter-spelled as any other spell, the spell level is the same as when originally cast for that purpose. This can be cast 1 time per long rest. After absorbing a spell, regardless of redirect you are afflicted with strong, uncontrollable emotions listed in the Chromatic Elements list that correspond with the chromatic element of the spell. By consuming all of your Luxins, regardless of level a full Prism of Luxins must be expended, will give you one additional use of Luxin Retaliation. Can only be used 1 time per long rest.
