Base Class: Rogue
Someone who can be cunning yet deadly, as their mask of trust can quickly turn into a swift death. They use the skills of deceiving others through words and actions to build trust and comfort which gives the Con-Artist unique and deadly abilities to betray those who think them their friend.
Impressionist
Starting at 3rd level, you gain advantage on Deception checks.
Deal with the Devil
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain the ability to use friendly gestures to let your opponents guard down; if an opponent willingly touches you for any reason other than to harm you, you gain the ability to sneak attack them for as long as they are in contact with you.
At 9th level, if you use this ability to sneak attack, you also gain advantage on the attack roll.
At 13th level, if you use this ability to sneak attack, the attack is always a critical hit if successful.
Pathological Liar
Starting at 9th level, whenever you tell a lie and someone believes it, you may use your reaction during combat to subtract 1d4 from an opponents attack roll whom which you have deceived.
If someone decides to use a Insight roll to compete against your Deception roll and fails, they are deceived. They are not deceived if they do not use Insight and instead just refuse to believe what you say is the truth.
Alibi
By 13th level, you have honed your skills in deception, trickery, and lying to the point where it is hard not to believe and trust your words. Once per long rest, you may choose to automatically successfully deceive everyone around you with something you say, no one can use Insight to check if you told a lie. Your words are the absolute truth in the eyes someone who trusts you and is believable in the eyes of someone who is suspicious of you.
Corrupt Second Thoughts
When you reach 17th level, your words give an overwhelming sense of power to all who hear them. Once per long rest, you may choose one person you can see including yourself with your bonus action, no one within hearing distance of you can willingly target that person with anything harmful until the start of your next turn.
