Base Class: Artificer
An Enhancer is a specialization of Artificer that focuses on always having the right tool for the right job, at a moment's notice. Experts in the field of creation, they are able to think quickly on their feet and adjust to any given situation to benefit their allies. They can often be found in populated cities, selling their creations to traveling adventurers.
Tool Proficiency
3rd-level Enhancer feature
When you adopt this specialization at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with one set of artisan's tools of your choice. When you take a short or long rest, you can change this proficiency to another set of artisan's tools.
Enhancer Spells
3rd-level Enhancer feature
You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Enhancer Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Bountiful Infusions
3rd-level Enhancer feature
Beginning at 3rd level, your passion for tinkering and creating exceeds normal bounds. The maximum number of infusions known and infused items you can have active, both increase by +1.
This feature increases to +2 at 9th level, and then to +3 at 15th level.
D&D Beyond Support
To infuse additional items, you will need to open the sidebar for the infusion you wish to apply and use the "Override Infusion Limit" button at the top in order to exceed your normal limit, making sure you only exceed it by the number of additional infusions this sub-class allows.
Always Prepared
3rd-level Enhancer feature
At 3rd level, your heightened intellect keeps you ready for any situation. After a long rest, you can choose one infusion known, and swap it for another infusion that is available to you.
Additionally, at any time, you can spend one minute to swap one of your prepared artificer spells with another one from your artificer spell list or swap an active infusion for another infusion from your infusions known. If the new item requires attunement, you can instantly attune the item to a willing creature. Otherwise, you will have to follow the normal rules for attunement. If the creature's attunement slots are already full, they get to choose which item they de-attune to. Once you have used this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest.
Soulbound Network
5th-level Enhancer feature
At 5th level, you become so attached to your infusions that you impart a fraction of your soul to each one you create. As long as you are attuned to one of your infusions, when a creature takes damage from any of your artificer cantrips or magic weapon attacks, you add your Intelligence modifier to the damage you deal. Once you deal this damage, you can't use this feature again until the start of your next turn.
Additionally, whenever a creature is attuned to one of your infusions, you can use a bonus action to teleport within 5ft of the attuned item, provided it is within 30ft of you. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Hastened Attunement
9th-level Enhancer feature
At 9th level, your bond with magic items allows you to make creatures more receptive to attunement. If an item requires attunement, you can use your reaction to have you or any willing creature within 60ft of you attune to an item instantly. If the creature's attunement slots are already full, they get to choose which item they de-attune to. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Expanded Attunement
15th-level Enhancer feature
At 15th level, you have gained the ability to teach others to become more adept with magic items that you create. During a long rest, you can choose a number of willing creatures equal to your Intelligence modifier (excluding yourself). They gain an additional attunement slot that can only be used for infused items you have created. This effect lasts until the end of the next long rest.
