Base Class: Bard
These bards believe that the blending of music, magic, and martial skills is the ultimate performance. To this end, they practice any of the three disciplines as often as they can to hone their skills, ready to be called on at any time. During battle, they showcase everything they have to support their friends and allies, and hopefully frighten their enemies. They like to keep their opponents guessing their next move. A devastating spell? An inspiring song? A sharp cut from their sword? Who knows?
Master at Arms
When you join the College of the Singing Blades at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor and the scimitar.
If you’re proficient with a simple or martial melee weapon, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells.
Fighting Style
At 3rd level, you adopt a style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can’t take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if something in the game lets you choose again.
Dueling
When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.
A Song of Hope
At 3rd level, your song inspires hope in your comrades, giving them the will to keep fighting. When an ally uses your bardic inspiration die, they gain a number of temporary hp equal to the number they rolled on the bardic inspiration die.
Extra Attack
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Magical Music
At 14th level, having spent a great amount of time training your body in magic, music, and martial prowess, you can sing and fight simultaneously without even batting an eye. As a bonus action, you can sing and cause a number of enemies up to your CHA modifier within 30 feet to roll a Wisdom saving throw equal to your spell save DC, or be charmed for one minute by your beautiful song. If they are attacked by an ally, they may reroll this save at the beginning of their turn. They may reroll the save at the end of their turn. While charmed, they are also incapacitated. You cannot use this feature again until you have completed a long or short rest.
