Base Class: Monk
The long lost art of time bending has been revived by the monks of Gilda'nar. Following in the path of the epic Elven monk, Kronalgus, these followers have learned to transcend the material plane and grab hold of gears guiding time. The monks are few and far between, but the power that they possess is felt through dimensions. Following the path of Kronalgus will be dangerous, but will bring with it extreme agility and heightened senses.
Slipstream
After choosing this subclass at level 3, your mediation on the interaction with time and your body has increased your fighting force.
- Your movement speed is increased by 10.
- As a bonus action on your turn, you can attempt to decrease the movement speed of an enemy.
Interrupt Time
At 6th level, you have finally harnessed a portion of time, allowing you to slow it down and move within it for a short period of time. With your quick reactions and blistering speed, you can dodge attacks as they are approaching you. As a reaction, you can spend 2 ki points to attempt to nullify a melee attack against you.
You must make a WIS saving throw (DC 15).
- On a success, the melee attack does no damage.
- On a failure, the reaction has no effect.
Mercurial Mind
Beginning at 11th level, your approaching mastery of time allows you to enter a special meditative state on the battlefield, heightening your reaction time. At the cost of 3 ki points, you can transform your reaction, into a normal action. You are allowed to use this action in the same place as your reaction, allowing you to use it not on your turn.
Time Dominance
At 17th level, you have complete mastery over the gears of time. With immense strain and power, you can control time itself, allowing it to meld around your wills.
As an action, you can spend 12 ki points to stop time for 1d4 turns. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.
During your turns:
- You gain both actions and bonus actions as normal.
- Interacting with any creature, such as moving them or an object on their person, will end Time Dominance's effect.
- Moving more than 1000 ft away from where you cast Time Dominance, will end Time Dominance's effect.
- Spending ki points will end Time Dominance's effect.
- Your Unarmed Strikes will not end Time Dominance's effect.
