Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

The flame knight uses the fire of their determination to further their goals, turning their body into a furnace of fire and steel. The flame knight does not always have to be energetic and optimistic, even if these are common traits among them, but the one trait they all share is being driven. A fighter who adopts the abilities of the flame knight always has a tell, be it ash always floating around them, their feet leaving burn marks in the floor, their skin giving off a crimson hue or sometimes their body giving off smoke. This tell is especially obvious when they get a little emotional, getting quite literally “fired up”.

Phoenix

Starting at 3rd level, you can set your spirit aflame. As a bonus action you can channel your spirit into your attacks, setting them ablaze. Until the end of your turn you deal an extra 1d6 fire damage on every attack and the flames sheds bright light in a 20-foot-radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. The bright light reveals any invisible creature in its radius. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, all expended uses of this feature recharge upon finishing a long rest.

Blast Furnace

Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the Produce Flame cantrip using your Charisma as your spellcasting modifier.

Scorched Earth

At level 7, you can hardly contain the fires of your soul. Once per long rest, when you are reduced to 0 hp, you can choose to make a wave of flame escape your body, forcing every creature in a 20-foot-radius to make a constitution saving throw and take 8d6 damage on a fail, or half as much on a save. If you are reduced to 0 hp by fire damage, the damaged is increased to 10d6 instead. Alternatively, you can change the area of this feature to a 60-foot line that is 5 foot wide.

Ashes to Ashes

At level 10, your body is getting used to the flame. You get resistance to fire damage and once per long rest you can choose to absorb any fire damage you took as a reaction, turning the fire damage into temporary hp.

Trial by Fire

At level 15, the fire of your soul burns brighter than any your opponents have felt before. You ignore fire resistances and immunities when using your subclasses features.

Burning Inferno

At level 18, your body is forged in flames. On the first turn of combat, your first attack deals an additional 4d10 fire damage.
