Base Class: Monk
You are adept at using your Ki to grapple and control other creatures.
Skillful Wrestler
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your dexterity to bolster your ability to grapple and shove creatures. You may use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier when making an athletics check to attempt to grapple or shove another creature. When you succeed on an athletics check to grapple or shove a creature, you spend a ki point to cause an additional effect:
Crushing Squeeze: You deal damage to the creature equal to 1 roll of your martial arts die + your dexterity modifier.
Distracting Grab: The creature gains disadvantage on all ability checks until the start of your next turn.
Pinning Stance: The creature may not use its movement to stand up from prone on its next, it must use its action if it wishes to stand.
Ground and Pound
When you make an unarmed strike against a creature that is grappled or prone, you deal extra damage equal to (1 martial arts die + WIS mod).
Enhanced Luchador
You are now more adept at using the features from your skilled wrestler feature.
You may add your Wisdom modifier to athletics checks made to grapple or shove a creature. You may attempt to grapple or shove creatures that are up to two sizes larger than yourself.
When you spend a ki point to use one of the options from your skilled wrestler feature, you may instead choose two of the options.
Sleeper Hold
Creatures you are grappling and prone creatures within 5 feet of you have disadvantage on saving throws.
You may use your action to spend 4 ki points to attempt to choke a prone or grappled creature within 5 feet of you. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw against your Ki save DC or fall asleep. When a creature fails this saving throw they become unconscious until the end of its next turn.
