Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

You have learned how to manipulate the energy within stones and crystals to amplify your magical capabilities. With revolutionary formulae and primordial materials; you can bolster your ranks, fortify your defenses, and sharpen your attacks.

Fossilization

You can convert some of your magic into a paleolithic token, storing its energy for later use as fuel. You sacrifice a spell slot to create this token, effectively saving it for later to be used either; in the place of a spell slot of equivalent level OR adding to your spell slots to cast something. You may spend 5 minutes to fossilize your arcane energies once per long rest creating 1/2 your proficiency bonus (rounded down) worth of tokens. The token(s) lasts until dispelled or used, however, you can NOT create more while previous ones still exist.

For example of the second option, you store a second-level spell slot and the next day you wish to cast fireball but have a single 1st-level spell slot. Utilizing both your 1st level spell slot and the token (1+2) you can cast a level 3 spell (fireball).

Tectonic Tinkering

You gain proficiency with Mason's Tools and Jeweler's Tools.

Animite Inclusions

Creating an Animite stone requires a contract of form to be established between the Lithomancer and the creature, and a spell slot equal to or less than its CR. Fossil tokens can be used for its creation. There is only 1 spell slot used and that is for the crystals creation. Creatures are limited to Beast, Plants, Oozes, Monstrosities, and Elementals. DM approval for any creature. This experimental procedure may have adverse impacts on creatures innate magics.

Utilizing the Animite in combat requires an action to conjure the creature or dismiss it, no spell slots involved. If the creature is downed by nonlethal damage it returns to the Animite (unless otherwise incapable). The creature has its own turn and does not need to be instructed on your turn. You can only utilize one animite at a time and are capable of having as many as your proficiency bonus. NOTEABLY there is a drawback that you can not have "conjured" or "summoned" creatures under your control at the same time, a familiar is fine.

Animite are palm-sized crystals that weigh 2 pounds and are considered magical items. If exposed to dispelling effects the crystal turns to sand and the creature bound inside is dead and not able to be resurrected.

Crystal Clear

You can use a fossil token as a reaction to gain advantage on a skill check, spell attack, or ability check.

Isotopic Manipulation

You are in tune with the energies of arcane stones and have learned the following spell-like applications for your fossil tokens, which can not be combined with Crystal Clear.

  • Resonance: a fossil token vibrates as if it were a tuning fork. As an action, you cast healing word at the appropriate spell slot level but with a range of 10 ft.
  • Refraction: arcane energies pass through a fossil token seemingly magnifying your next spell. The next spell you cast has a +3 to hit or a +2 to the spell save DC. (requires a fossil token of at least 4th level and a bonus action)
  • Petrification: you transmute the properties of an enemy to match those of the fossil token. As an action, you use a fossil token of at least 6th level the enemy must succeed 2 Charisma saving throws against your spell save DC or be petrified.
