Base Class: Bard
True art is living. It isn't stagnant, but rather it's meaning and significance change with the context of it's environment. Certain bards take this reality to the extreme, bringing their creations to life to serve alongside them to create even more life. Whether it's a painting, a sculpture, a song, or even a clay pot, these masterfully crafted works of art are granted magical life. The bards that study under the college of nascence tend to be extremely creative individuals, thinking up simultaneously the most abstract of ideas within the most mundane aspects of life. They are inherently problem solvers, and often make their creations with intent.
Skilled Artisan
You have immense experience in your craft. You gain proficiency in performance and your choice of musical instrument or artisan's tool.
Artist's Thrall
Having a deep connection with your art, you've learned to embed your creations with your magic, causing them to come to life.
During a short or long rest, you may create a thrall. The type of thrall created is determined by your choice of musical instrument or artisan's tool proficiency granted by the Skilled Artisan feature. You determine what your thrall looks like. The thrall lasts 24 hours, or until it dies. If you create another thrall while one is already active, your previous thrall loses it's magic and fades back to a normal non-living creation.
Your thrall is friendly to you and your companions, and it obeys your commands. It can communicate basic ideas with you telepathically.
In combat it shares your initiative, but takes it's turn immediately after yours. It may take reactions on it's own. Casting the mending spell on your thrall will gain an amount of health equal to your bard level. If your thrall's health ever reaches 0, it loses it's magic and reverts back to a normal non-living creation.
