Base Class: Rogue
Shrouded by the power of dark matter, Void Cloaks have mastered the power of arcane absorption. Void is channeled throughout enhancing their abilities. For rogues, becoming a Void Cloak is often not a choice.
Arcane Vampirism (3rd Level)
As an action, you can touch an common or uncommon object that you know is magical that isn’t being worn or carried by another creature and temporarily drain it of its arcane properties, becoming mundane until you finish a long rest. When you do this, you gain a void die. The size of the void die depends on the rarity of the drained magical object. The maximum of void dice you can have at one time is limited to double your proficiency bonus. You lose all void dice after a long rest.
When you reach higher levels in this class, you can drain rarer objects. At 5th level, you can drain Rare objects. At 11th level, you can drain Very Rare objects. At 17th level, you can drain Legendary objects.
Common Object: 1d4.
Uncommon Object: 1d6.
Rare Object: 1d8.
Very Rare Object: 1d10.
Legendary Object: 1d12.
Nullifying Halo (3rd Level)
When you make a saving throw against a spell or magical effect, after rolling you may expend one void die, by rolling the die and adding it to your roll.
Mage Hound (3rd Level)
As an action, you can concentrate on seeking out magical items. For up to ten minutes, you sense the presence of magic within 30 feet of you. If you sense magic in this way, you can see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any.
This trait can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.
Once you use this feature you can’t use it again until you take a long rest.
Silent Skill (9th Level)
Whenever you make a Dexterity check, after rolling you may expend one void die, by rolling the die and adding it to your roll.
Cloak of Nothing (13th Level)
As an action, you can hide yourself from Divination magic for 10 minutes. You can't be targeted by any Divination magic or perceived through magical scrying sensors.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Shrouded Blade (17th Level)
Whenever you attack a spellcaster or magical creature, you may expend a void die by rolling it. Add the result to your attack roll. When you do this, your attack is considered magical.
