Path of the Demon

Barbarians that follow the path of the demon in one way or another have their soul bound to a demon. Some are the products of abyssal cults, some have been possessed in some way that still allows them agency, no mater how they got their demon their rage is fueled by the demonic strength and abyssal anger that persists in the reassesses of their soul.

Abyssal Binding

Starting at 3rd level when you take this path your soul is intertwined with a demon. It shows when you enter a rage turning your eyes and veins turn black as they flow with ichor. While raging you gain advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. When you succeed on a saving throw against a spell or magical effect while raging the demon within you surges in strength, your next attack will deal additional damage equal to half your barbarian level rounded down if it hits.

Demonic Retaliation

Starting at level 6 you can let your inner demon out during your rage to strike those who get too close. When a creature hits you with a melee attack while raging, you can use your reaction to make an unnamed strike against the creature. If you hit you deal your unnamed damage as if your strength bonus was doubled.

 

Ingrained Abyss

At level 10 your demonic essence has been growing in power and influence and now flows through you even when not enraged. You have advantage on saves against spells and other magical effects at all times and upon being forced to make such a save, you can use your reaction to enter a rage.

Chaotic Fury

 At 14th level you have developed enough control over the demon within to call on its strength on demand, even if only briefly. While raging you can make an unarmed attack as a bonus action each turn. If you hit you deal your unnamed damage as if your strength bonus was doubled.
